No more BH for Mr. X

Last Sunday I decided to pay a visit to my sister in order to 'fix her a light bulb’. With her permission,
known in this game as danais.

With this occasion and also because she managed to collect some bazookas (around 40 of them)
during the period I was nagging her to connect to eRepublik, we decided to go for a BH medal.

We were looking for a battle, an already started one, in which no one has involved yet.

Giving the fact that my sister is still a beginner, ( I HAVE TO STATE THAT IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO REACH
THE STRENGTH LEVELS OF THE OLD ACCOUNTS IN THIS GAME, even with as much gold as you’d be
able to use on daily basis. A reset of this game or a new formula for calculating the strength and rank
would probably do the trick for getting new players into the game. Dividing the strength and rank
by 10 each year could be a solution) we decided not to upset the big shots in this game and enter a
battle from its beginning.

Done as said and so we find a battle in which in the first 25 minutes there was no hit, and even
though it was the 1st round I was assuming that an experienced player with some common sense
would have already hit 10FF and would have been waiting for the next round to get the CH as well.

As we both agreed on this battle, danais started hitting shot after shot using only the bazookas with
a pre-set objective of reaching 800K in damage.

Suddenly, while she was approaching the 800K limit I start seeing 6000 hits, which made me realize
that we were dealing with a BH, CH hunter.

After danais has reached 800K we decided to take a look and see who that BH,CH hunter was. It
didn’t come as a big shock to see that ‘Mr.X’ has already written to danais and has been asking for
5 gold, and if danais won’t be paying the fee then ‘Mr.X’ will take away what was meant to be her
first BH medal.

In the 1st instance I suggested her not to answer as she was still having a bazooka and ‘Mr.X’, as I
have calculated, had to use an energy bar in order to surpass the 600k in damage.

The point was not about that 5 gold, as it was about the manner in which the gold was asked for.

The basic principle is that one should never negotiate with terrorists.

I turned on my laptop and connected through a telephone GMS connection in order to avoid having
the same IP (btw, it would be so nice to have a account congestion system in the game).

After I log in I address myself to ‘Mr. X’ and explain to him that danais is my sister and that if he
intends to take away her BH medal I will step in and won’t allow him to take the BH medal and
further more I will follow him and prevent him from taking any other BH/CH medals or at least make
it very costly for him to get them.

Of course my threat was not taken seriously by ‘Mr.X’ due to my relative young age in the game (1
year) which translates into a low strength level. BIG MISTAKE THOUGH, as I have invested in this
game in 1 year more than others did in 4.

I started hitting 500k in damage solely on energy bars in order for me to reach the same level as my
opponent, though I soon realized that it was impossible to keep the same pace in the last minutes
due to my bad internet connection.

Mr. X continued attacking hard after the 5 minutes ultimatum and I couldn’t follow the battle due
to my bad internet connection, though danais took the damage threshold value at 1million though
even by doing that she still lost the BH medal because I mistakenly told her to hit 1million in damage
when what I truly meant was for her to give everything she’s got.

A small thing to ad😛 Because ‘Mr.X’ didn’t have any more resources, he asked a conational to take
away my BH medal, though unfortunately for him, he abandoned somewhere at around 2.5 million
in damage, point at which I was starting to get my bazookas for a walk.

Tuesday:

‘Mr.X’ changes tactics and takes me into international battles in order to take advantage of the 10%
NE damage. As a results, I quit the military unit created in Indonesia and create a new one in Brazil
so I can benefit from the energy bar and bazooka given from the MU Orders.



I have to say that in the 1st two rounds he only hit low with 10-20FF thinking that I won’t be spotting
him so he can get away with the CH medal.

Unfortunately, two guys fight in the second to last round and put up 9-10 million in damage which
take away his CH hopes as well.

Next, first swear:



As a result of that message I decide to send a ticket, but it seems that the admins are not too keen
on eRepublik becoming a game full of harmony but a game that encourages nationalistic views (to

be understand as selfishness) and hate between players.

I wouldn’t surprise me to wake up one day being banned on some weird made up reason. But
whatever, no worries there as my money goes around in other games as well.

A small detour to explain the nationalism part of what I said, as this is a pretext for people with
personal ambitions, people that asks foreigners to leave their country simply because the foreigners’
presence on the job market bothers them (STOP THE JOB MARKET PLATO). These people do it not
because of nationalism but because of selfishness.

The simply want lower wages so that they can have a higher profit.

High salaries are something to be welcomed by the new players as well by the country taxation them

As a conclusion for the ticket part, I waited to see if the admins of this game find it ok for people to
swear each other.

Wednesday :

As a result of the lost battles, Mr.X goes through a period of inactivity. Of course I was waiting for
him with great anticipation, having the companies on my land work in my favour.

Thursday:

After a night of rest I wake up, turn on the computer and read the following message:




In other words said, the boy thought that I won’t have the balls to fight against my own country
(Brazil) or against my sister’s country (Romania). Again, big mistake.

For those that haven’t got it yet, I became a mercenary simply because the common soldier, loyal
and patriot, is constantly sworn at, left to die of hunger, time in which the ones that are at the top
don’t know how to share their richness.

I AM A MERCENARY. I FIGHT WHEREVER I WANT, I PLAY HOWEVER I WANT, ALL ON MY OWN
MONEY. If you respect me, I respect you. You want me to fight for you? Take a look at my land and
calculate how much damage I am able to inflict in one fight. So, if you want me to fight for you then
throw the coin and I will guarantee you that you’ll have more damage from me for only 10% of the
money that others were given from the state.

(the only exceptions are the battles in which I fight for my friends)

The boy moves to Turkey, though unfortunately for him there was no active battle against Romania.

As a result, he moves to China with his tail between his legs and then it follows:




Back to Turkey : so i can go to sleep ?



To be small in this game is hard if you want a BH medal.

The only way to go is to steal from the big shots, because if you do like danais did and hit in the start
of the battle you won’t make it, but…

Mr.X used to get 15 gold on daily basis (2 BH and a CH)

On what ground? Or merit for that matter? Simply because he started playing this game before you
did and has a higher strength than you do which makes it impossible for you to reach his level

However, he does have the merit of being perseverant !!

He did make a mistake though and that was the fact that he doesn’t respect the other players. I am
pretty sure that there are 2 or 3 out there that will replace me while I am tired.

This clearly means that he self-financed himself and didn’t have to invest real money into this game.

Was it that hard for him to hit 10FF and then wait for the next round?

He does that now, just so he can get rid of me.

But all good things come to an end.
