Cromstar
Here's another one who probably has the respect of many of you. When you are done reading this, you may still have the same respect. I prefer you didn't. My point is to explain how he was instrumental in further pissing me off. I am absolutely justified in being angry with him. First, he wasted my precious time and made all my work worthless. Then, he lied about it as if I'm stupid. Keep in mind that he has been political director for the Feds the last 2 months. There is no excuse for not knowing how to do his job. Furthermore, there is no excuse for him not knowing my job and how it applied to his department.

Twice a month, we have a political poll. One is for the CP endorsement and the other is for the PP primary. Back when gnilraps was a first term PP and I was his VPP, he approved a new forum group for voting members. Only those people in that group were approved to vote in the special board designated for those two polls. Twice a month, I check both the member and voting groups for Feds who have left the Party and remove that access if needed. I then unlock that section of the forum and inform the PD the voting group is secure for the poll. He either posts the poll or assigns someone to do it shortly thereafter. This is quite a task which requires a significant amount of time for me to accomplish. I am very thorough. Keep in mind, he has seen me do this job a few times in IRC checking lp's.

So, here I was, just before the poll doing my job. I posted in the leadership room topic area that my check was completed and he was free to run the poll. I happened to finish just before Cromstar logs onto IRC. I told him to check topic and he was happy, indicated by a \o/. Then, I log off IRC.
Later, when I check the forum for the PP poll, so I can vote, the poll is posted in the wrong place. This oversight allows certain people with member access to vote which are not actually ingame Feds. They have this access as a privilege to view areas of the forum not visible to non Feds while still maintaining the integrity of the voting process.

As you can imagine, I was very upset that my time and dedication to the Party was a wasted effort. So, I found him on IRC, in the leadership room, and tore him a new one. From my perspective, he had been PD long enough to know how things work around here. Yet, he feigned ignorance of how we run things. This is highly insulting, as I am just not that stupid enough to believe him. Of course, I would be enraged. Yes. I immediately went into attack mode and put him on the defensive. He was lucky I didn't shame him in public. Not so lucky today though.

You must understand that I have been there longer than most of the leadership. I believe the eliwood is the only Fed in the party longer than me. As for Cromstar, he is quite the newbie there and not deserving of the respect reserved for someone who has proven themselves time and again like me. I had every right to be pissed and do what I did. If the other Feds don't like it, then they can go suck wind. There used to be a time when it was well known you don't cross me. He owes me an apology. I know I won't get it because of the way I handled things. Of course, I could have handled it differently. The point is that his negligence negated all the work I did, making me feel useless and unappreciated. Why did I bother doing my job? My reaction was appropriate based on the total lack of respect shown by his screw up and incompetence.

Yes, I am aware that otherwise, he has been a good PD. The fact is, that in one act of negligence and deceit, he was instrumental in my departure.

This is when I began contemplating leaving the party and eRep. I find little satisfaction playing ingame. If I'm not a Fed, there is nothing to keep me around. Instead, I decided to wait 2 days to cool down and make sure that is really what I wanted. Meanwhile, the Clorofila attacks on me were mounting. That's strike two.
