The Revolution's Effect On the Libertarians
As we all know the Revolution, and the Libertarian Party were closely connected. One could argue that they both needed each other for survival, the Ying and Yang of the eRepublik World. The question burning in all our minds is that now the Revolution has faded, will the Libertarian party remain a force to be reckoned with for much longer? To answer that question we must first look at their party population over time, and connect their population changes to events within the Revolution.
Not big enough for you?
As we can obviously see, once Josh Frost was elected, the population jumped. When members of the Libertarian Party were publically declared Enemies of the State, the population absolutely skyrocketed. However, within the last 2 weeks, the revolution has stagnated, and as a result so has the population of the Libertarian party. When it comes to parties, stagnation is a sign of death. Parties need to actively grow and find new talent to be able to survive. Whether or not the Libertarian Party will return to the greatness it once was, only time can tell.
An amazing movie, I would recommend it, one of the best scenes here.
The Other Top 5 Parties
It's now time to take a looksie at The Revolution's effect on the other Top 5 parties. Again, we will start at their population changes. The first graph I have will be a percentage change graph to see the decay rate of the other Top 5 parties within the last 3 months. Note, it is based on percentages, not the number of members lost.
Size Matters.
As you can see, most of the Top 5 parties have been decaying at a slow and steady rate, all losing members at more or less the same rate over a longer period of time. The party with what appears to be the steadiest decay in members over time is S.E.E.S. For changes in Party Membership within the last month, we will defer to the next graph.
As you can see, the Libertarians were the only party with a dramatic change in members this month. However, the S.E.E.S party had a large drop in members, which would suggest that either some SEES party members left their party and joined the Libertarians, or they simply became disenchanted with the game and quit. There were no substantial changes to the USWP, Feds, or UIP.
This is what comes up when you Google "Activity Corner", blame Alexa, not me.
Domestic Activity
Now it's time to look at how The Revolution has impacted activity, and/or retention of new citizens throughout the nation. Two of the best, and easiest to measure ways of determining the social activity level of an eNation is to look at the number of votes in Congressional Elections during that Executive's term. This is a good indicator of domestic activity because it is around 2/3 of the way through the President's term, which would leave enough time for most social changes to take effect. It also shows the amount of interest in the Political side of the game that month.
Think you can handle a larger one?
In Closing
No matter what the numbers say, I personally had quite a fun time romping around during the Revolution. People on both sides, Unpure Lib, and Pure Revolutionaries can now join hands, sing Kumbaya, and reminisce about all the fun times they had this month.

Although the above article might at first glance display the "post hoc, ergo proper hoc" fallacy, it is really a case of magical thinking. Since the revolution started the day after Frost's election, how could the revolution improve voter participation in Frost's election ? Tsk, tsk.
Oh, another, since the graph is not to scale it is quite meaningless. Take a course on scaling.
Samuel, you idiot. In the table it clearly states that the election is from Congress elections during the President's term, not the election the President was elected from. Please learn to read a simple table before commenting.
Also, I'm assuming the "graph that's not to scale" you're talking about it the Top 5 Party Decay graph I have. Technically, it is to scale, however the graphs were just at different starting points, I moved them to the same starting point to get a residual-like effect so that you could see the normal changes of a party in comparison to the Libs.
A lot of people got banned, committed suicide or left the country
A mass misunderstanding, maybe?
Bah, ustedes, carapálidas que van a saber de revoluciones...
Revolución la que les vamos a hacer a ustedes...
Temblad, que el día de la venganza está cerca!!
From a Statistician point of view each of these stats is missing crutical elements that, by their omission, allow the stat to falsely portray a meaning that may be true, or just as easily, may not be. Not calling you a liar, however, you are no statistician. Remember the old adage; "figures don't lie, but liars do figure".
With missing information, these are therefore completely false and misleading numbers and charts.
Animis, saying there are omissions without saying what the omissions are proves nothing....? I would like to rectify the error, but I see no missing holes that you speak of in any of them.
THE SCISSOR SISTERS! \o/
*Wakes up several hours later with keyboard-waffle face* Waah happened? I opened up the page and saw some numbers and percentages, charts... and then..
J/k it is pretty interesting to see the how the revolution business had actual effect on the country. Seeing if the active population grows in the next pres election should be pretty telling if the revo had any sustaining impact on the country.
a un pais y robarle sus regiones, he? he?
Haber, por que no invadieron a un pais como eRusia...
Agarren la onda, alivianense.
No votado..

The revolution was nothing but drama for drama's sake. I'm glad its over because I was close to quitting because of that crap.
Nothing has changed. Same shit, different month. The only revolution that will actually work will be the one where everyone commits mass suicide and we all decide to post a shitload of porn at once.
That is still my dream for eRep.
AgentofChaos, your avatar and name screams drama whore. Don't bitch about drama for drama's sake. Thanks.

He does the same thing on the USForum. Talks about how we should help noobs and then attacks any who ask questions or express an opinion not his own.
While the Revolucion definitely had an impact on the Libertarian party's numbers, you aren't taking into account the amount of effort and work we (the Libs) put into growing the party. We were presented with an opportunity and we worked it, hard.... very hard. I'm not so sure any other party, if presented with the same opportunity, would have had as much of a success as we did due to how much time and energy we put into it.
