Hodds running for CP
Hodds
Good Evening eAustralia,
Yes that is right, I am in the running for CP.
For those that dont know me, these are some of my achievements in the past:
Former Deputy of Education.
Former PP of KHMC.
Former ADF Marshal.
Former Commander of the Hawks MU.
Former 2nd Commander AFUTU.
Although I already have few names my cabinet, I'd like to give you the opportunity to send me PM if you are interested in working in these departments (with a short platform):
Department of Defence:
This last month has been rather quiet on this front, which has been great. We haven't had any problems on the Indo front ether (One thing I'd like to continue to have).
During this month I'd like to see how we can raise up our new players through the ranks, and helping them to become bigger hitters. Thus making our country a stronger country over all.
Department of Foreign Affairs:
As we all know Australia has left the EDEN alliance. However this also does not mean that we have turned our backs on them. I'd like to support them were we can.
One thing I would like to develop in this term is the Ambassador program. So that we have experts within our own country of what is happening in other countries, and thus taking a work load off, just having 1 or 2 people manning this department.
Department of Immigration:
This is probably one of our most sensitive departments. As the actions in this department can bring our whole country down on to its knees through a major PTO attack.
For this department I'd like them to continue doing the great job that they are doing. Checking the backgrounds before any player is accepted into our country. Also for them to let all senators know, how the department works and what risk they run just accepting anyone into our country.
Department of Finance:
As all governments would like, I'd like to see our government maintain some sort of a surplus at the end of the month.
However I'd like to look into what resources we have to help new players effectively climb the ranks.
Department of Information:
This department is mainly about keeping you the public informed about what we are doing as a government. And this is what I'd like this department to continue doing.
Department of Education:
This is a department that I'd like to work on this month. Looking at how we retain new players in the game as well as training them up to be our future as well.
So that gives you a bit of a background to what I would like to achieve this month and on going. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

Your article is vague and I look forward to reading more about your policies in the future.
I have a question:
From reading your article all I can gather is you're saying "vote for me and I'll look at helping newbies a little more". Why should eAustralia vote for you? What will you change?
Thanks Mudkip McMudkip for your question.
Yeah that's my main push for this election, which is to work on helping new players more. I think policies tend to get in the way of this. So I'm not too concerned on policies.
I've seen a number of people leave the game cos there were too many policies within our own government. And thus they gave up playing.
I'm getting deja vu I'm sure I've read this elsewhere, including comments.
Too many policies, Hodds, or too much politics? Policies are important because the PM needs to be able to present a vision to the country. Why should we elect a PM with no vision?
Politics, on the other hand - well, the game encourages it.
The KHMC form the lulz base. A party without policies. Sounds great for a beer fest but not great for leadership.
As you would read above.....
"I'm not too concerned on policies."
This does not mean that I don't agree with having them. But when they restrict new players from being able to take on some of the big jobs, that's when we have a problem.
We also need to improve our community as well. I've noticed that we all too often really like to shoot down other players. And thus loose a heck of a lot of player.
Just my 2 cents.
What policies restrict new players from taking on big jobs? Everyone should be given opportunity but I would be hesitant to put a brand new player in an important ministry role without them having worked as a deputy first.
How do you propose we improve our community?
Good luck Hodds
