Garven Speaks about Militias
Garven Dreis
Hello Everyone!
Today has presented us an interesting example. For those who may not be up to date, a Resistance War has been started in the region of Gyeongsangbuk-do by Manic Eskimo. This Resistance War is against our staunch allies, the eJapanese. This Resistance War has received the backing of The Internationale, an international Communist forum.
Our own Australian Communist Party's Dingo Militia has answered the call of The Internationale and has ordered it's soldiers to fight for the liberation of the region. This would certainly conflict with our status as allies of the eJapanese, as they are fighting to secure the region. What question does this raise?
How can we rely on our own militias to not fight against our allies?
The simple answer is that we cannot, and honestly, even though this militia is a branch of one of the Top Five parties, the situation has still presented itself that one of our militias has effectively fought against one of our own allies.
I'm disappointed with the ACP at the moment, something which those who know me means a lot.

Hmmm...for Garven to be disappointed in the ACP really does mean a lot.
:/
who are the wankers who ordered to fight agaisnt our own allies :?
/troll
ere's a better question.
Who the hell is even IN the Dingo Militia?
Also, Japan FTW. Bros before...uh...political views.
The thing about a private militia is that you never really can count on who's side they'll be on in any battle.
Binda that can be said about any military that isnt under control by the eAus govt. you have no guarantee that the US or EDEN will show up in a battle(generally they do if it benefits them).
a PRO-EDEN militia such as TCO or most smaller eAus militias will fight for eAus because thats where their loyalties lie.
and to counter your likely argument about the TCO possibly not showing up for us if there is a more important battle then let me remind you of Romania. they went off and did their own thing then when noone helped them they had a hissy fit. there were more important things happening but Romania expected support. is the eAus govt like Romania?
I'd probably be dissapointed in the Dingo Militia if I knew who they were... As i'm not even sure who their members are I can't really be dissapointed in anybody.
Spazicus basically summed it all up 😛
@Tim_Holtz - you are right on, my friend. Let's stop bashing the militias. I am not excusing their efforts in this instance, but I don't think we can throw all militias under the bus because the dingos are making this mistake.
The better approach is to open up more communication with the militia leaders so that everyone is on the same page.
Well I guess I better make an appearance here.
Firstly the Dingoes and the ACP are not one and the same. While they share a lot of the same members and ideals they don't have the same people in charge. Think RL IRA and Sinn Fien.
Secondly, as a militia built on an ideology the Dingo Militia has every write to fight against imperialism. In fact if you look at the original announcements that was our goal.
Japan has attacked a neutral nation and we are opposed to it. Instead of sitting around talking about how it was wrong we acted, as part of an international coalition (with members from the USA, Russia, UK amongst others) to stop Japan and help a small, independant nation defend itself.
Thirdly, just because the Dingoes don't feel the need to shout our existance all over the media doesn't mean we don't exist
"The thing about a private militia is that you never really can count on who's side they'll be on in any battle."
Yeah its not like every player in this game has their choice of where to fight.
binda its amazing to me that with your continued attitude toward Australian citizens that you continue to be elected. Its a travesty.
what tim said x a million
>Yeah its not like every player in this game has their choice of where to fight.
Actually, they do. Forcing someone to fight somewhere without their consent is against the eRep laws.
>binda its amazing to me that with your continued attitude toward Australian citizens that you continue to be elected
If you feel you can represent the Australian Constituency better, put your name up for election.
Don't forget the Japan has screwed up our military plans in the past, and aren't as much of a bro as you would think. I support eSouth Korea.

to the first point, learn to read garven its called sarcasm. Nobody can force anyone to do anything in this game. Every persons click is their own choice. Which goes to your point "how can we rely on militias to fight where we tell them"? ... well how can you be sure that people in the Australian military or any military will fight where told to everytime? you can't ... why? ... because every person makes his/her own choice where to fight.
the question is deliberatly inflammatory, however characteristic of you and many of the politicians like you in Australia.
To the second point, i did two terms in Australian Congress.
What is confusing to me is why you would even ask the question. Of course the Dingo Militia, or any other militia, cannot be relied on to act exactly as if it were a branch of the Australian Defence Force. If it did, what would be the point of starting a militia? Why not just join one of the ADF branches?
The Dingoes do not pretend to be a branch of the Australian military. It is a militia formed for those who are NOT members of the eAus military and it's goal is to protect against imperialism, not to support any particular super-alliance. As an Australian militia its focus has been defence against Brazilian and Indonesian imperialism. However, as international militias have helped Australia in the past, the Dingoes are helping their international colleagues now.
Don't criticise the Dingoes for doing exactly what they set out to do, defend against imperialism. If all the Dingoes (or any other militia) did was follow ADF orders then the question should be asked - why bother having a militia?
It does not conflict with Australia's status as an ally of Japan because the Dingoes are not part of the Australian military, just as the involvement of the SFP and other eUS-based militia does not affect the eUS relationship with Japan.
Dingo militia is not part of ADF, it's based on the idea of freedom and anti imperialism so it can fight even against australia(not likely, but possible)...
articles like this one are pure fail, who the hell is garven dreis to tell someone where to fight?
If the eAustralian government had any kind of clue, weapons would be provided with not an issue to all players wishing to serve for eAustralia. As this is not the case and the military couldnt supply a root in a brothel, militias will continue to exist
Tim Holz an absolutely brilliant post!
What is the one main difference between the CDs and ADF?
1. The ADF is funded by the Government the CDs aren't!
Otherwise the CDs are just as committed (if not more) to the defense of eAustralia (first and foremost), the Brolliance and Eden. If the eAustralian government started funding the CDs we would be identical in regards to mission and purpose (if you think otherwise you are wrong).
What are the other differences I hear you ask?
2. The CDs put a lot more effort into developing new players than the ADF.
3. The CDs are open to everyone and do not exclude people from positions in the top units because they are not strong enough. Leadership positions are also based on merit alone not strength.
4. The CDs generate strong investment into eAustralia through the strong financial support we receive the TCO. Basically we create NET CAPITAL INFLOWS thanks to the generosity of our Canadian brothers.
Am I anti ADF? No definitely not! eAustralia needs a strong military and the ADF, CDs, the new ANZAC and private citizens all do their part. I just think that the ADF needs to be more inclusive and less exclusive.
I'm an eAmerican citizen and I started the RW against one of our Bros and yes I still consider them Bros. They are attacking South Korea for the only reason of not liking the SK government. Japan have broken their own constitution by attacking a country that cannot defend it's self.
When this federation of militias started one of the first militias who approached me were the Red Guerrillas from eIndonesia they wanted to help liberate western Australia from their own country. This is the sort of loyalty we like to see. We will continue to fight for the citizens of any country regardless of the decisions of their leaders. Now I bet some of you are thinking moral fgt but it's not totally about that it's a game and fighting for something can be fun and a way to unite people especially those who are on opposing sides. We don't have a party in Japan or Canada but members from eUS, eIreland and eAustralia stood up and said NO.
If any citizens of eAustralia are interested in joining something different and having a bit of fun contact one of the ACP about joining the Dingos while they may not be well known in eAus they are well known internationally and are a great asset to your country.
