Join the new world

Greetings fellow citizens,

Thanks for taking time to check out my article. I'm Aersidius and I'm running for congress in the state of Andhra Pradesh on June 25th. If elected this will be my fifth term as a congressman of the nation I love.



Experience:

I have served as California Congressman for the current term. I have also represented Arkansas once and Kansas twice.

I am currently a colonel in the Battle Cocks platoon of the Workers Militia. I was honorably discharged from the Home Guard when I began my work on the militia scene. On Day 748 I graduated with honors from the United States Training Corps. Get involved in the defense of the eUS, it's where the fun is. I can wait for some crazy loaded maps in V2 with different units blasting each other all over the place.

I've done a bunch of other stuff along the way, but it wouldn't be worth your time to read about.



Beliefs:

Citizen Support and Growth: The eUSA has many good programs for assisting and improving new citizens. Arm America helps get weapons to those in need and increase the strength and size of our combat force. Many other programs assist citizens gain knowledge and improvement in other areas. If you currently permanently reside in a state other than Florida or California, please make your way to our fortress states, preferably California. You will be able to take advantage of hospitals, allowing you to fight more each day and work at a higher wellness. What we need to work on is recruiting players. Increasing the number of citizens, and their strength, will greatly advance the eUnited States.

Retention: We must insure that new citizens are informed of our programs to help them, but also, they need to have fun. Much fun is had in the off-site IRC chat rooms.

Military: The eUnited States is strong. I will not knowingly vote for any motion or action which will decrease the strength or funding of the eUnited States military. I also support the various militia groups. Many citizens never apply to the eUS militarty for one reason or another. Hopefully the militias can connect to these people and get them involved. As a member of the Workers Militia I enjoy looking for people to join up with us.

The United States Training Corps provides basic training to new military recruits in a well structured method. I highly recommend this program to all citizens regardless of future military aspirations. You will learn vital information that will keep you well and make you stronger.

And now I'm going to put a third paragraph in about military service. V2 is coming soon to a battle near you, and you'll have a lot better time in the combat if you join a group of some kind to maneuver with on the battle maps. It won't be fun if you are moving around on the map and you keep getting eliminated by enemy forces. Find a fighting force that fits your needs.

Taxes: Should the military or citizen support programs require additional funding, I will vote for an increase in taxes. Otherwise I will do my best to evaluate the situation and vote accordingly. Taxes are in place not to burden the citizens, but to provide essential services and keep mutual protection pacts in place. I support the practice of occasionally raising taxes to run foreign businesses out of regions we conquer, and voted for these increases during the Asia campaign.

I believe in embargoes rather than high import taxes. We have the capability to shut our market off to enemies we are not currently at war with. Why should enemies or non-aligned nations have the same free market status that our allied brothers receive?

Infrastructure: With the expected V2 release on the horizon, congress must be ready to place the needed infrastructure in critical areas.



Foreign Affairs: The eUSA should not enter into any treaty or alliance in which any part of our sovereignty is lost. The Brolliance is a group of great nations, who do a great work.

Transparency: I believe in all government actions and discussions being available to the public, with the exception of those that affect national security. I will provide all answers requested by the public in a timely manner, provided they will not breach the security of the eUSA, on votes and discussions in congress.

Upon being elected for office each congressman is given a treasure map. This month I will be donating this gold to the US Department of the Interior. Many programs which assist new citizens are operated out of this department, and they do a fine job. Food, gifts, and mentoring are provided by this group of dedicated players to help the citizens of our great land get on their feet as new citizens. Top to bottom, thanks DoI.
