Introduction

Some of you who are active on irc, forum, politics or eSAAF might already know me, my name is Fhaemita Malodorous and I will running the upcoming term, April 2010 for congress. Like previous attempts I will be running under the Independent Alternative banner. My first and immediately successful attempt was in January 2010 when I run as congressman for Kwazula-Natal, and barely got elected with 2 votes. My second run for congress was the next month, February and I did not get elected with again 2 votes. This will be my third run for Congress and as I am more experienced then I was before I hope this attempt to run for congress will be a success. After my failed attempt for congress I started focussing more on the millitairy aspect of Erepublik, I became more active eSAAF soldier and was quickly promoted sergeant and became squad leader to Enfield Squad, 2nd company in the Pretorian Guard and after the reform in the Pretorian Guard he was promoted to 2nd Lieutenant and became the XO of 2nd Platoon, 1st Company of the Pretorian Guard. After the election of Greyhunter as President of South Africa I was named deputy minister of Information.


Politics

Since the day I was able to join a politic party I have only been a real active member of two political parties. When I still had lived in the Netherlands I was a member of Libertarian Social Democrats. After I moved I've always been a active member of Independent Alternative. I've always been members of Libertarian parties but that is more out of lack of choice in the Erepublik system. Libertarian advocates the maximization of individual liberty and the minimization of the state. In Erepublik this is very hard as involvement by the government is important for a country to run smoothly. I consider myself thus more of a Social-Democrat then a Libertarian. The goal of social democracy is to complement capitalism through parliamentary and democratic processes in order to achieve a mixed economy, controlled by a representative government. This includes financial regulation, and various state sponsored programs to ameliorate and remove the inequities and injustices inflicted by the market system.


Standpoints

Foreign Affairs
Ofcourse we need strong relations with other countries, and we need to keep the lines of communication open with other foreign country whatever there affiliation of alliance is. We have a ambassador program but like in every country we're struggling to keeping ambassadors active. Communication is very important and it is not hard working being a ambassador, just keep track of the news in a particular country. The last month only 4 ambassadors posted a report about the particular country they are ambassador too. I hope we can change this and work on good relations with more countries. Also South Africa still has to choice what alliance they will join, Sol, Brolliance, Eden of even Phoenix? My person choice would be Brolliance after all the help they gave us the last month after South Africa was wiped off the map

Finance
As some of you may know the financial situation in South Africa was a bit tight with the war going on that cost a lot of money and with the only one region we had limited number of companies (most foreign). Hopefully with the taking back of our region our economy will be better. We should have a healthy economy that is very important for a healthy country.

Social Affairs
The start of a healthy country is healthy and well educated citizens. The departments of Mentoring, Department of Education and the eSouth Africa Health Center all have the directors position filled and are working hard to help the South African citizens. eSouth Africa Health Center is doing all they can with helping citizen especially those who serve their country in the eSAAF to keep their health up. With the new hospital system alot of people have problems with there health. Helping them keep there health up is important but it is more important to educate them and department of education and mentoring is very important to learn people how to keep there health up on there own.

Military
The military is doing a great job the last month with reconquering our lost regions of Brazil and Argentina. We have 8 regions of our 9 regions back. With the help with our allies like for instance Australia and United States who where both very welcome. The Military is still growing in size and strength and I think we should treasure the people who are willing to fight for South Africa and spend time, health and gold to keep our country, our citizen and goats and sheep safe from predators like Brazil and Argentina.


Current Government
Altough the current government still has alot of time to go they are doing in my opinion a brilliant job. Under the leadership of Greywolf we recovered most of our regions back like stated earlier in this article. it hasn't been a easy time for a government to run our country. The country had to be rebuild almost from scratch and Greyhunter and his minions did a very good job on rebuilding the country. There seems to be also newer users who are interested in getting involved in politics. New blood is always needed as people quite because they get tired with politics, the game or just get banned ingame. I think we should try to get as many people also newer people involved in politics as possible.

Some people like Jaccil and Jisses are very critical about the "elite" of this country. The people helped run this country and helped made the country as it is right now. "They are the people who have been holding government positions in the hands of a small select few and only open up their exclusive club to those who promise to walk, talk, and act like them. ". Ofcourse it is nonsense that they will open up only to people who promise to walk, talk, and act like them, I was giving the opportunity to become deputy minister of information and I am surely can't remember I had to promise to "walk, talk, and act like them". hereby I dare the New Blood Resistance Movement, established by Jisses and Jaccil for form a shadow cabinet and go into opposition and come with other solution to problems you don't agree with in a constructive way.


Why vote for me?

But why would you want to vote for me and why would you want be to be in Congress? Well I am very much active. On weekdays I am online most of the day and 24/7 present on IRC. I read the forum the whole day trough. I have a opinion about most things like I showed in this article. I want to do my part in congress and I am sure that I will do a great job. I hope I am worth your vote.
