Hello Europe and World

With this article, we would like to announce officially the 3rd e-Eurovision Song Contest which will be held in Alexandroupoli, capital of eGreece.

eEurovision started for the first time back in 2015 in Ireland, then after a pause due to several issues it continued one year later in Switzerland. Then, again after another big pause, the initiative this time comes from Greece.

So, what is this about? eEurovision is an online song contest at which countries are participating with a song and then they vote each other to declare the winner among all. Just think it like real-life Eurovision, but a bit less complicated and online only. 😃

Any country from the eWorld can participate at the eEurovision, not only rl-Eurovision countries. For example, at the moment we have participations from Brasil and USA. The more countries the merrier.

Representatives of each country shall be a member of their goverment or an appointed citizen. That person will be responsible for the picking the participating song (through national final or through internal selection) and organizing the "televoting" of his country.

At all times, the representatives should keep the communication with the hosts open, so to make sure each country keeps the deadlines. That means they have to be active almost contantly. And to avoid any communication issues, a replacement for the representative shall be known to the hosts.

To be specific, the representatives from all participating countries MUST contact me (Jimkats1) in order to organize the sync with each country and hold the HoDs (Head of Delegations) meetings so to establish the stuff.

For more info regarding e-Eurovision, you may visit its wiki article.
The service which will be used to present live the participating songs will be dubtrack.fm. There's a small chance it may change.

Edit: There will be a money prize for the winning country. It will be CC and Golds which will be deposited at the country's treasury. The quantity will be announced much later.

We hope to see you participating. Very few countries at the moment stated their participation with an active representative. And I ensure you, even though eRepublik's traffic goes down time by time, we will have fun.

Dates (for the completion of each country's internal processes)

Song submission deadline: Sunday 11 June 2017 04h00 eRep time
Songs live presentation: Wednesday 14 June 2017 11h00 eRep time
Televoting deadline: Monday 19 June 2017 04h00 eRep time

That doesn't mean that a country should host i.e. a national final from now till 11th June, but before then they should acknowledge to the hosts their participating song.
Keep in mind that these dates and times aren't fully determined, so they may alter.

Rules

1) The performer(s) of the song must be from the country they represent.
2) There's no limitation at the duration of the song.
3) There's no limitation at the language of the song.
4) There's no limitation at the release year of the song.
5) Instrumental songs are allowed.
6) Real Eurovision songs are allowed.
