Calling all Canadians
To many, the last few days have been the same as always. Hungary has PTO’d another country, Germany is being liberated, and Croatia is under assault. Normally, I’d be all caught up in the action, but this week, something else is on my mind. Something of great importance…
As some of you may know, Coda has held contests in the past, drawing ordinary soldiers from the CAF, and giving them publicly donated weapons so that they can level up, become stronger, and become the tanks of tomorrow.
However, this contest is a platoon-based contest. And as stated here: http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/spp-contest-2-mid-week-update--843799/1/20 the 4th and the 12th are in an extremely close race. And today, I’m here to draw your support for the 4th Special Field Ops Platoon.
The 4th platoon is a united, strong team of dedicated individuals, all who work together seamlessly. We have given it our all, but now we need your help to win the contest. We have already donated over 100 gold, mounds of weapons, and yet, although many of us are bankrupt, we are still fighting to win. Our platoon works together like no other platoon can, and our dedication to fighting for Canada is unique and only brings us closer together. We are the hardest hitting platoon there is, and we are only becoming stronger, especially with your support.
The current General of the CAF, Coda, was a former leader of the 4th platoon. Today, she is the symbol of all CAF activities.
Who was the first in-game Colonel in the CAF? No Idea, the current Sergeant of the 4th. Who was the first in-game General in the CAF? No Idea. (The person)
Each congress member, cabinet minister and party representative that declares support for the 4th gives our platoon much needed points, which will propel us to the top, and reward us with hundreds of weapons. These weapons will, in turn, be used to make a stronger platoon, ensuring that Canada stays safe.

Just a few things I thought I should point out:
a) No Idea was not the first General... Alucard Bloodlust was, and he was not from your platoon.
b) The Third has had one of the highest average damage increases over the past two months -- can you compete with that?
c) We have a cooler Latin motto than you 😃.
a)Alucard wasn't part of the CAF at the time, which is why I clearly stated that he was the "first in-game General in the CAF"

Still, the 12th should get a couple points for trolling the 4th hard. You guys could've at least had someone in the 4th notified of the article before Schept saw it.

Why would we need to troll our own articles?
As long as one of you get the weapons, who cares? Rock On and Bravo Zulu!
And this is why the fourth are better than any other Platoon, they get the support, supplies and money that no other platoon gets.
its a circle, you get the supplies to win the supplies to get the supplies, we'd all be a lot better off if every platoon was treated equal, or at least got supplies everyone in a while.
While I'm glad you think we are the best, and while we do appreciate the support from the last contest, it was not the reason why we got to the position we are in. My share of the prize last time was 5 Q1 weapons or one day off from buying weapons (although this contest's prize is shaping up to be much, much larger).
Furthermore, all platoon's are treated equal in terms of receiving CAF supplies. But this is seperate from that; these are donations to the Platoon that wants it most. This contest is designed to create more cohesive Platoons and a more active CAF overall which would not be achieved if we simply divided up the donations nor would they be so high if it were not a competition.
The true reason why we are ahead is because we are active as a platoon and in this contest and because we are willing to contribute a lot to the prize itself. There is no conspiracy here; if you want to win, you need to get organised and selfless. Your platoon is giving up because you're so far behind, but if you contributed as much as we have then you'd have a chance. It's up to you if you want to win; the 4th just wants it more.
I haven't given anything up, I am fighting with my own funds, apart from once i've been doing so for a month.

Everyone in the CAF fights with their own funds often, some just more then others.
I'm tired of fighting with nothing but my own meager cash, on those rare occasions We Canadians get to flex our might; I'll spend hours backing whatever platoon in whatever way they ask if someone just tells a brother how to join the freakin' Forces
