Hi kids!

I've been meaning to write about the current situation of Canada for awhile now. Since the doldrums seem to have settled in, now is as good a time as ever. This is a fairly short article but the topic is not that involved and really requires little explanation.




We're Wiped



NOOOOOOOOOES!

OK, no one is shocked by this news I hope. The whys and hows have been beat to death so lets not go there. The simple fact is that the US has certain demands to negotiate peace and currently Canada is unwilling to submit. Short version is we don't feel like being their bitch.




Whiners Go Home


I said whiner not wiener.

I should say this as delicately as possible but that's not me. I tend to say what I think. For the better or worse, at least I'm honest. When the war with the UK left us with sour grapes to munch on and mean ol' US attacked, there were several people that started bitchin'. They insisted on "being informed" and that "something must be done". Unfortunately there was no information to inform them of, nor was there anything to be done that wasn't already in the works.

I'm glad that the people who've toughed it out so far are the reasonable sort. I truly believe that you are being told things as they become relevant/available or are not of a sensitive nature regarding secrecy. If something doesn't make sense or seems odd just PM someone 'in the loop'. I'm always available to answer questions. DMV seems most forthcoming with a quick response also. If you don't know something it is either a secret or you didn't ask.




What's Next


Mandatory motivational image.

The usual question is "What can we do?!" and my answer is 'I dunno... What were you planning to do if we weren't wiped?'. People act as if the game suddenly changed. The only two major changes are: 1. No Congress; 2. No bonuses. So were you in Congress before the wipe? Most of those that were are still in government PM's bitchin' their little hearts out. Were you a business tycoon before the wipe? Then the econ still sucks and you can't make a buck.

Trust me folks, precious little has changed.

If anything more opportunity abounds at present. Become active in your party, there's always something to do there. One thing oppression can do for a medium sized county is cause a baby boom. It's also a great time for newer players to show their stuff by writing articles about current events. Their research benefits them as well as others. Older players can take advantage of all the fighting to earn awards/medals, build on their rank and generally show off. Everyone can follow the MoD Orders and look at shouts from the ones you trust for up to the second info. IRC is good too, just not one of my favorite mediums. To each his own.




It's Up To You

Let's face it, other than poking 'Fight' the game is pretty lame. Either interact with others, sit back & observe or continue to 2-click. Like I alluded to earlier, continue doing what you've been doing and S-M-I-L-E!
