A Modest Proposal

I would like to propose an idea whose time has come. As eUSA citizens, we are subject to wellness issues. New citizens are are forced to depend on the charity of those more fortunate then them. More experienced citizens are stuck with no free health care during peacetime. Q1 moving ticket holders are subject to wellness issues from low quality moves. There is also the possibility of a citizen's death. We must also deal with the unemployment issue. How can we allow this to be? We must look to our government for the answer. We must encourage our President to propose and adopt an eNational Health Care Plan.

With this plan in effect, newbs will no longer have to struggle and work their way up from the wellness bottom. They will no longer have to beg for gifts and feel worthless. Instead, they can turn to their National Health Care Adviser who will gift them to a predetermined acceptable level. Since only ten gifts a day are possible, this may continue for multiple days.

What about when our country is not engaged in battles? Why should we buy more expensive food to keep our health up? Is not that what government is there for? The Plan will provide gifts for all those eUSA citizens who ask for assistance during peacetime.

For the moving ticket problem, we can institute a federal exchange program. Citizens could trade in their Q1 moving tickets for the same with higher quality. Then the government could sell or donate the Q1 tickets to whomever. Of course, there would be a limit to how often each citizen can make this trade. So we get a Q3 moving ticket company holder in the administration. Then that company(ies) will provide the tickets necessary. We employ all Congress members at minimum wage for maximum profit. They get 5 gold, so we can at least screw with some of the rich. If a Congress member refuses to work for the government, then they will be publicly shamed and exposed.

Then there is the matter of the unemployment problem. We can institute an unemployment insurance program. This program will be for those citizens who get fired from their jobs and cannot find a new job at the same pay or better. The government would simply make up the difference. This would motivate the government to prod companies to keep wages competitive. Congress members could promote and vote for these programs (higher taxes) for reelection consideration. Everybody loves free money and those who provided it.

How does eUSA pay for this. We increase taxes. Unfortunately, there is no way to just tax the rich, so everyone shares in the responsibility. Of course, only those in need will benefit. This is an excellent way to spread the wealth. This will create more government jobs also. Just think of all the work to process all the requests for free gifts and lost wages. Create a new department and appoint a Wellness Czar. We could also have a Labor Czar and a Ticket Czar.
