It was more shocking when Rolo got elected CP last summer or was it 2 years ago. dunno
It was more shocking when Congress pardoned Rolo for free and we lost dozens of top ranked players and subsequent region bonuses.
It was also a bit shocking when Rylde gave MDP to Norsefire.

This Cabinet position is on the less shocking scale of things. Comptroller...now that would be.

No, it isn't. It is completely consistent with the pattern of behaviour that has been established in eCan.

It's troubling, but I am not shocked. Wally was Rolo's guy, he used his bag'o'tricks to get him elected. Wally was simply giving Rolo whatever role he wanted as compensation. Now, as for impeachment talks, if, IF, there seems are any financial shenanigans during this Administration, then yes, impeach the bastards and fecking exile Rolo to the furthest pits of hell (if only!). But, if everything is on the up and up, then impeachment is simply petty politics, and a waste of political energy.

Just so everyone is clear, an impeachment would likely fail in any case. The Coalition controls 43% of Congress. That is much more than enough to keep Wally in power no matter what happens.

@Addy , well that has to change. A new pattern must be formed and better one for the people and such

My point is that until it is proven that this Admin is corrupt, it is a waste of political energy to speak of impeachment. Innocent until proven guilty, rule of law, and all that.

Mary, I seemed to overstate the arrangement,in that case.It just looked like it was MDP that adopted Norsefire logos into into it's party avatar, while Norsef remained more independent and original.Rylde seemed to enlist Norsefire to win the CP election and benefit from the PTO of EPIC as part of the Dictatorship theme.It may be that MDP supported the aims Norsefire had over the many months yet never came out to say it until there was the right opportunity.Maybe MDP was proNorse all along

It's quite possible that MDP can decide to no longer 'mutually support' Norsefire and be independent again. It's quite possible that nothing was demeaned through the arrangment. It's quite possible that lots of other players' impressions of what went on (only from the surface appearances, since the 'unwritten agreement' is not quite clear to the general public) is misinformed, naive, and petty.

It's quite likely you don't believe 100% of what I just wrote, either.Believe what you will.

For clarity sake, it was not the fear of theft that caused the impeachment, but the other way around. Rash impeachment caused thefts (maybe)

Rolo was hastily impeached because people feared he was part of a group colluding to control eCan politics and manipulate parties. That may have been true, but that sort of manipulation never became reality until after the theft/impeachment

Wow nothing in ecanada surpises me. Ah well, Wally knows who he has let in to MoF, so it is on his head if the Gov't gets ripped off (again).

This is why I believe in low taxes. Nothing to do with economics, just less there to steal 🙂
