3 Shockingly Accurate Predictions From Nostradamus, The Greatest Analyst Ever!
Today, early morning, a thought struck my head. Few years back I was in a regular habit of watching that favourite kids' show Doraemon. I loved that show back then! xD An episode of that show flashbacked in my mind. The episode was as such that Doraemon wrote a very weird diary in some sorta code language which he left in his cupboard and went to meet his cat girlfriend, Meoko. Not seeing Doraemon when Nobita returned, he was bored. He went digging for something to do when he found Doraemon's diary. He found it very strange reading it, some of it even made no sense!
He took it with him to discuss it with his friends. Suneo, one of his friends (and his bully), told him he had seen that sorta language before, but he couldn't remember where. None of his other friends had any idea what was going on. Disappointed, Nobita went back to home. A few hours later, Suneo stormed to Nobita's house yelling to him that he found what he was talking about and what that diary probably was. He explained that it could possibly be the copy of the book 'Les Prophecies' written by the French analyst Nostradamus in which he tried to predict the future.
When I watched that full episode on my laptop again, I was really shocked to see that someone was able to predict the future from which some predictions were shockingly accurate! I was ready to dig into this story more. I researched a lot on Google and found a lot of stuff which I wanted to share with you guys. Here I go.
Nostradamus was a French Analyst, Physician, Author, Translator, and Astrological Consultant. His ideas contained staying power. In 1555, he wrote his first book, 'Les Prophecies' (translated, 'The Prophecies') in which he tried to predict the future. Publishing companies still roll out copies today (not of the original one, but collection of the quatrains). If you want one, go here: http://www.amazon.com/Nostradamus-For-Dummies-Scarlett-Ross/dp/076458412X
In the text of his book, each four-lined block is called a quatrain. While logic might suggest Nostradamus' claims could apply to almost any event, some of them come very close to reality. In this article, I'll publish 3 such predictions. If you like them, search on Google and you'll find a lot more!
His sceptics still try to crap about him. Here is an article written from one of 'em. http://www.skepticnorth.com/2010/06/nostradamus-latin-for-useless/

His 3 Shockingly Accurate Predictions
1. The Great Fire Of London Prediction: "The blood of the just will be lacking in London,
Burnt up in the fire of '66:
The ancient Lady will topple from her high place,
Many of the same sect will be killed."
What Actually Happene
😛On Sept. 2, 1666, a small fire in Thomas Farriner's bakery on Pudding Lane in London turned into a three-day blaze that consumed the city. It came to be known as the Great Fire of London.
Peasant deaths weren't recorded at the time, but many historians claims at least eight people died in the blaze. Thousands of houses and business burned, as well.
"Blood of the just" might refer to the elimination of millions of flea-carrying rats that spread the Black Death. That deadly plague died out during the Great Fire.
2. Louis Pasteur's Discoveries Prediction: "The lost thing is discovered, hidden for many centuries.
Pasteur will be celebrated almost as a God-like figure.
This is when the moon completes her great cycle,
But by other rumours he shall be dishonoured."
What Actually Happene
😛Born in 1822, Louis Pasteur was a French chemist and microbiologist who discovered that the growth of micro-organisms causes fermentation. That discovery also proved bacteria doesn't simply appear spontaneously, as previously thought. Instead, it grows from already-living organisms in a process called biogenesis.
While Pasteur didn't first propose "germ theory," he convinced much of Europe of its validity. He invented a process for removing bacteria, "pasteurization," which is named after him. His early work also led to the creation of vaccines for rabies and anthrax.
However, in 1995, science historian Gerald L. Geison published a book showing Pasteur incorporated a rival's findings to make his anthrax vaccine functional. That finding partly "dishonored" the great scientist, as Nostradamus predicted.
3. The 9/11 Attack Prediction: "The sky will burn at forty-five degrees.
Fire approaches the great new city.
By fire, he will destroy their city,
A cold and cruel heart, blood will pour.
Mercy to none."
What Actually Happene
😛On the morning of Sept. 11, 2001, hijacked planes crashed into the Two Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City.
Scholars interpret forty-five degrees as either a reference to New York City's proximity to the 45th latitude or that the burning buildings would fall, creating a 45 degree angle to the ground — even though they collapsed onto themselves.
These are just a few of his large number of predictions. If you are interested in reading more, here is an eBook on Google Books: http://books.google.co.in/books?id=LVaWbAJWc9wC&pg=PA98&lpg=PA98&dq=magpies+Pampon&source=bl&ots=LMnh9fGXJU&sig=25vcnSKVTe2ZDBDY9-1bfR6tpqk&hl=en&sa=X&ei=GNJ8U4fIE_OqsQT8ioCoDQ&redir_esc=y#v=snippet&q=Great%20Fire%20of%20London&f=false
This also has the French translations of what he originally wrote.
When it comes to predictions, you can take whatever side you want. Some believe in it and think they are very useful (I am one of 'em), some crap about them and think they are practically not useful. Well, it's a democracy, and you're allowed your Freedom of Thought and Expression. But what should be maintained, is World Peace. If you want to argue over them, argue maturely, not like junglees (animals), but believe me, you won't reach any conclusion. So what's the use of arguing? Understand that everyone has different sides and try to take in both points of view. Don't fight over such silly things! We have much better things to do in life. Take this article in just as knowledge, nothing else.
Anyways,

i forgot to send you weapons for the previous article 😃
No prob! 🙂
If you make 1 million random and very vague predictions, at least a few of them are bound to come true
Here we found a sceptic guys! No offense bro, but you still have a very good point. 🙂
Sometimes I have to agree with U TDK..
This is exactly how these things work. Plus his predictions are too vague.
It's debatable if he even made these predictions in the first place. old nosey has become an Internet idol now and people love attributing all sorts of things to him 😛
more to the point, extraordinary claims demand extraordinary evidence. I looked up his "predictions" for 2015 and they gave me quite a laugh 🙂

apart from the technicality of the topic, good article. Thank you for taking the effort to write it.
