[TB4PP] The Process begins Anew

Before I began to write this article I Google😛 TB4PP Erepublik. The above was the first result under image. Obviously it means I have used that pic in a past Party President campaign article, but it also was fitting. In my view I have never been the “Sexy” candidate. I have never had the aura of inevitability that scares potential Election opponent into remaining on the sidelines like Gnilraps, Josh Frost, or Wild Owl. I have never inspired a groundswell of populist support like John Largo and BeachBunny. I can go on and on about who and what I am not. However, the purpose of this article is tell you who and what I am.

I am all about the Process. I am someone that will leave something better than I found it. When in charge of something my goal is to affect lasting changes that will be at least for a time self sustaining. When that goal is complete I step aside and let others lead. This is why I have an established pattern of fading in and out of the limelight. Experience has taught me that some distance is necessary for me to remain hands off while others lead institutions I care deeply about. The temptation to meddle is too strong otherwise. I do however step back in when I see a need. Which takes me to the present state of the Federalist Party.



The Feds have always been about finding the next generation of talented people. We have long prided ourselves on being a meritocracy. Willing hands have alway been coveted and rewarded within our ranks. To be perfectly blunt and honest for a while now we have not been successful in getting people involved in the day to day running of our Party. We have had an increasingly smaller group endeavoring to keep the lights on and the wheels grinding on. As it is now they are barely moving. Whiskey Jack due to game mechanics had the role of Party President land on him. He did not ask for this, but he over the last couple of weeks has stepped up for the good of the Party. Had he opted to run for Party President I would have happily worked to assist him in rebuilding the Fed community. Either way our Party owes him a debt of gratitude.

For years we have claimed to be the most active community in the eUSA. Our forums hummed with players interacting with each other. Sometimes it was for the day to day running of the Party other times it was for social interaction and entertainment. It was good. Today our forums are nearly deserted. Feds roll in to vote in Primaries, nominate their choice for Party President. (On a related note I have accepted the nominations for Party President in the political section of our Forums and was the only Fed to do so.) We hop onto the forums to sign up for Congress and we have our ingame message thread amongst the Congress Critters, but beyond that we as a Party really do not interact or talk to each other anymore. I know there are people on the Fed discord channel but all too often said channel is quiet and nearly empty. I cannot overstate this the state of the Federalist Party meta is bleak. Yet all is not lost.



There is light on the horizon. The in game state of the Federalist Party is still quite strong. We still send a very large delegation to Congress every month thanks to our solid voting bloc. We still win Presidential Elections with regularity. I see plenty of new player and seasoned players shouting on the Party wall in game. The challenge is to get these players who vote and shout to interact with each other in the forums, via media, and on discord. This can only be done through outreach to communicate just what we have to offer. The opportunity for growth and involvement is so enormous at this time. If you have a desire to be in Congress, be Party President, serve in the Presidential Cabinet, and last but definitely not least be President of the eUSA it is not beyond reach. The Feds and the eUSA as a whole are desperate for an infusion of talent and new blood.

So if you are a new player or even an experienced player I extend to you this invitation: Let’s begin the Process together! Help me rebuild our community. You are needed now more than ever. Make no mistake this will be a process we cannot restore things to regular working order overnight but we can make real tangible progress, and when we have things humming along you will have the satisfaction of knowing you helped build something. You will be a leader in the eUSA’s largest Party. You will be in a position to achieve your goals while also helping others to achieve their own. That is why I am asking for your vote on the 15th of January.
