Join the new world

OMG GUYS I can’t believe I won the Presidency for my second consecutive term! It was a really tough race. I’m just completely overwhelmed that you love me soooo much and chose me to be your glorious leader once again. You’re even turning me back into DICTATOR! It truly is an honor to be the only person in America with buttons.




Anyway, the new cabinet is getting settled in, which took basically no time at all because it’s just reshuffling the same deck, elitist trash-style. I do have one update to make on the cabinet: much to my disappointment, TerranLoyalist changed his mind about coming on board as Secretary of Media. I’ve asked MCKitKat to replace him, since he wrote the majority of the WHPR’s last term anyway. On board to help him is a bit of a surprising choice, Ya Boi D Money. I honestly have no idea how he will do, but I would very much like to find out.

Helping Senry in Defense is Komeko and Tom Cauchon. They both have a bit of experience already, but I am expecting a lot out of this department this month, so it’s time to see what they’re really made of.

Along the same lines, I have asked Jimmy Cincinnati to lend a hand in Citizen Affairs. We have the benefit programs to run and a more aggressive plan to write guides and put out media. Rainy has the benefit programs on lock, but I would like to work with both rainy and jimmy on the more public-facing stuff. Jimmy impressed me when he was Party President of the SFP. I think he has the potential to do really well in DoCA.

And Kody5 and Yui are both completely on top of things with the State Dept. Kody has come up with some of his own ideas for things he’d like to see and do from this new position, so I am very interested to see what happens with foreign affairs. I think these two guys will make a really good team and I appreciate how easily they have fallen into the role already.

It is important to me that we are thinking seriously about who takes over next. This election was basically uncontested and I know there have been a few elections in the last 6 months where people ran just because they were worried nobody was going to run. There are people who would love to become President/Dictator someday. There are people who would like to run departments. Time to start training them up to actually perform those jobs. I can’t imagine someone stepping into this position without having a really firm grip on at least running a department and working with the eUS establishment. I’m not sure people appreciate just how easy it would be to break a whole bunch of things as Dictator. Experience is a must, having people’s trust is must and I think it’s long overdue to give some of our most active citizens a chance to get that experience and prove their trustworthiness.

And to be perfectly honest with you, I wouldn’t be surprised to see some of the deputies out-performing the Secretaries they’re working under.

I will keep you updated throughout the month on exactly these things. Who is getting it done? Who isn’t? Some of it will be obvious, but some of it is behind the scenes. You need to know either way because one of these people might be our next Dictator.
