Join the new world

Introduction

My name is Fhaemita Malodorous and this month, July 2010 I will be running for party president of New Africa Party. I recently quietly left Independent Alternative and became a member of New Africa Party. The reasoning behind this is I needed a new challenge and because Independent Alternative is a old party with many great old users and New Africa Party is a pretty new party where there is still alot to do and in my opinion I could be of more use over there then at Independent Alternative.

The plan

Like most parties in eSouth-Africa New Africa Party has lived a pretty quiet live as party politics on almost non existing. I would like to change this, I would like to try to make politics especially party politics more interesting and hopefully more people will get interested in politics.

I also as candidate party president have plans for New Africa Party. As I said New Africa Party has been a pretty low key party but hopefully this upcoming month this will all change.

Organisation

I would like to setup some organisation, create some some (not too many as we are only a small party) krey positions in the party to help me run the party. I nay me party president but I do not run this party alone I am first amongst equals. I would like to get as many party members to help me and give there input on a party constitution and a Party Manifest that hold our core values and makes it clear what our party stands for. I think to grow we have to distinct us from the other parties in South Africa.

Communication
Communication is ofcourse very imporant. We already have our forum but this is not used enough and by too many party members. I would like to promote the forum more and also promote IRC more. I know some of the party members been coming on IRC but I have not seen many on our irc channel. our IRC channel was made by Kevin LandWaster who I send a reply to give me operator rights but he did not respond. So I made a new channel #NewAfricaParty on irc.rizon.net and I hope to see more people there.

Recruiting
There is much to gain with actively recruiting new members. We should try to recruit newer people and try to get them involved in politics and must not be afraid to welcome people from other parties. Freedom Alliance is the biggest party because it was one of the two parties who where made after the start of the 4th republic. Freedom party has mostly become a dead party with only 8 votes, one more then us while we have only half the number of members we have. We would like to welcome everybody from Freedom Alliance or any other party to join us and make South Africa a better interesting place.


epilogue

I would hope that as many people as possible to vote for me and give me a chance to make a change, to make South African (party) politics more interesting, I am willing to listen to everybody who has a reasonable argument about (almost) anything. So please vote for me
