Dear Britain,

I am pleased to announce I have been given the privilege of being elected to become the Party President of New Era. The fact you were all willing to bestow a position of such significance upon me means very much to me, and I want to thank you all for that. With privilege, however, comes responsibility, and unfortunately not many people take this responsibility as seriously as they perhaps should. I would like to begin by saying that I vow not to disappoint, I shall do everything in my power to make New Era blossom. Together, we shall grow and mature to become a force to be reckoned with.

That being said, I closely watched the election throughout the day and would like to provide my feedback on our performance as a party. While I held a steady lead a majority of the duration of the vote, which I was very pleased to watch, I was unimpressed with our voter turnout which set at only 42.16% at the end of the day. I was also very disappointed with several multi account vote removals that occurred while I observed the polls. This to me makes us seem to be inactive as a whole, which I will work to cure during the upcoming term. Lastly, I would like to thank wigibob, General Marley, and all other candidates for participating in the vote, moving on to our future.







Our party recently has been in decline, slowly decaying both in membership as well as our reputation among fellow citizens. We have much work ahead of us if we wish to turn the ship in the right direction! This daunting task will require work from everyone, this means I need you all to contribute and become more involved in the party. I will be sending around a form to scout interested volunteers to get more involved in the party as well as help develop their political careers. Whether you have been a member for months or decide to join New Era tomorrow, those who show to be productive and active for the cause will be recognized.

Not only will I be selecting people to occupy the in-game party cabinet, but also will be appointing worthy members to lead committees to spearhead various party activities that nurture New Era’s growth. These committees will hold many responsibilities including, recruitment, communication, publications, education and community work, all of which is needed to lead the party responsibly.
New Era currently lacks not only a infrastructure to rely on, but also the manpower willing to take on the duties required and operate efficiently within this infrastructure.Over the next five days, I shall be focusing on solving these two massive issues. However, I won’t bore you with policy any longer, as I will shed more light on the subject in an article that will be released in the near future.
