[MoSBB] OPERATION DontLetBelgiansRagequit
Ministry of Entertainment
As you may have heard, in the latest election eBelgium suffered a country-wide foreign PTO. As you can imagine a number of eBelgians are pretty unhappy about this, to say the least. There’s been talk of this being the final straw for some people, and about now maybe being the time to call it a day and stop playing. It’s understandable, but also saddening.
eBelgium is a great friend and ally of ours, and it pains us to see our friends wounded like this and we don’t want to see good people leaving the game as a result. So, while we often meet our eBelgian allies on the battlefield, now is the time for us to extend our friendship in other ways as well.
To that end, the eUK government and Congress have come together to create a scheme that will allow decent eBelgian citizens to move to the eUK instead of quitting the game. We hope that we can provide a haven where they can continue to enjoy the game, while perhaps sowing the seeds of a counter-revolution to win their country back.
Here’s how it works:
2. We’ll do a quick background check, just to make sure that we’re not admitting any of the PTOers by mistake
3. We’ll inform you when that’s done and ask you to put your CS application in.
4. An eUK congress member will approve your CS
5. That’s it - you’re in! We might even buy you a pint.
We’re doing it this way to make sure that we only admit genuine eBelgians, and also because with a small Congress this month (19) we have a limited number of CS passes.
So if you’re an eBelgian who’s unhappy with the situation in your country and looking for a way out - don’t quit! The hand of friendship has been extended by the eUK - all you have to do is shake it.
We look forward to welcoming you to the eUK.

Could this article also be perceived as a temporary solution? Maybe offering Belgians a chance of respite - out of friendship - when there is an air of uncertainty regarding their home country, so that in the long run their country can be 're-secured' somehow when this all blows over, for some may inevitably want to return?
(I doubt the chance for dual citizenship is implemented in the game!)
