[LordB4CP] A Patriot's Dream

Day 2,448, 20:56 Published in India India by Lord Bernin

Hello eIndia and friends,

I thought a lot about what to write here but had writer's block, so here is my share of ever increasing entropy!

Since the day I joined this game, I have had 1 wish, to see India among the top countries, a strong and influential India (even if it is in an online game ). It is hard to accept that this is a just a game. We make friends here and some of them are in touch even after years. Some of us have even gone on adventure trips to the Himalayas together. (I wasn't there ) The community we have here is what makes one stay and keep playing for years. The game has deteriorated over the years, but the community is strong as ever.

This term, I had decided to support RS4 for President because I had just returned to the game after years and was as noobish and any other new player. However, a lot of unfortunate events occurred and he was forced to inactivity. Then, his account was hacked by one of his friends which further degraded the term. He had promised a lot of things, but most of them didn't happen!

The reason:
5-6 people cannot run the entire government here. Even if you are not in government, you need to take initiative and do your bit. Even our respected congress members don't debate on proposals. They have not even elected a Head of Congress yet (no one volunteered to contest either). Therefore, me and Vijay chose xordin to be the HoC.
PS: I am infamous for my rants, so done with it.

Moving on, I will keep this short and simple. I have 2 main goals for my term:

1) Babyboom: Babyboom is a jargon we use here to refer to a large scale influx of new players in a short span of time (for new players who wonder what we mean by babyboom or bb).
We can have as many allies as we like, sign 20 MPPs every month and pay mercenaries to fight for us all we want. What do we get eventually? NOTHING. If eIndia has any future in the game, then we NEED a babyboom. We have a population of 1.2 billion people, I am sure 2000 of them would be willing to play such a game.
Therefore, a bunch of us are reviving old players who left the game over the years. They can guide new players including the ones who joined in the last 2 months very well. Additionally, most of them are super strong tanks. Once that is done, we will have a central site for interaction and communication between players.
We always get new players all the time, we just cannot retain them in the game. They get bored quickly because seriously, there is nothing much to do here except for making friends and getting involved in the tightly knit community we have. Therefore, our retention needs to be focused on assimilating new players into the community.

2) Foreign Affairs: Although secondary in my list, better foreign relations are critical to eIndia's success. We need and ourselves have to be dependable allies no matter how big our population gets. When most of the senior players quit, there was a vacuum in eIndia for a long time and we had almost non-existent foreign relations. Why would/should anyone help us or fight for us then? I do not blame Aurora for rejecting us even though it was sad. This term, me and Martin have significantly improved our relations with our friends. For a very long time, we considered Bulgaria and Macedonia as eternal friends. Now, Chile and Turkey are in our heart too. We need to keep up this work and we will rise from the ashes soon!

Finally, I would like to commend the efforts of our allies in fighting for us today against Uruguay's mindless NE proposals for self-imposed Training wars (they never end 😛 )

Today, we are the Campaign of the Day in Chile, Turkey and Bulgaria. Special thanks to them for doing a heck lot of damage and making Uruguay desperate. Countless friends from many other countries fought for us too.

eIndia salutes your contribution! o7

I hope I did not forget to mention anyone!

Jai Hind!
