So I Lost...
FOR YOUR LISTENING PLEASURE: Loser
Greetings and Salutations, My Fellow Americans and General Ajay Gipper Hut:

It's almost 7:00 eRep time, and before I escape eRep to enjoy my birthday, I figure it was time for the Concession Speech. After all, I kinda figured I was gonna lose anyway, ya know? Wild Owl is a juggernaut in the political arena and a great Country President to boot.

Congratulations, Wild Owl... for stomping my ass to be re-elected Country President.
So Why Did You Run Against Wild Owl, Jude?
This is a simple question to answer... I didn't. I was running against Evry because even she was told by Wild Owl that he wasn't going to be seeking re-election. Having heard this, I KNEW I not only had a chance against Evry, but I could actually beat her like she was my wife. When Wild Owl entered the race, I had already put too much time into this campaign and figured... Well... Might as well see it to the end, amirite? That end is now.
I want to thank those who supported this run, as well as those who have encouraged me to run in the future. The vocal supporters... the sekrit squirrel supporters (you know who you are!)... and especially the TWO parties that put me on the ballot, Socialist Freedom Party and The Revolutionary Party. Thank you all!
Better to Fail Than to Never Try
Even with the massive ass pounding I am receiving, I truly believe this is true. This is for a few reasons, in fact:

1. It was pretty fun to run for CP.... really.

2. I'm going to be the runner-up so if anything happens to the Wild Owl account, I'm there for you, America.

3. This campaign has been a good measure to gauge the possibility of a future run for CP.

4. People now see I'm no longer in TROLL MODE.

5. Even though I am not in troll mode, I heard the glorious butt hurt of an angry Pfeiffer - which is ALWAYS a plus, to be honest.
Will I Run Again?
DEFINITELY! I was actually amazed at how much support I got for a campaign that was doomed. I look forward to a campaign where I actually have a chance to win!

I also truly believe that the eUSA needs someone new to lead the nation. Maybe not now, but in the NEAR future. Look at this line in the final article by DMJ:

Yet as the population continues to dwindle month after month and as the same people get elected over and over or month old players make it into Congress without a single forum post beforehand, it wears you down.

The community is getting worn down. How long can it survive when active people like dmjohnston and Malarkey83 hemorrhage from the community?
