אולי שיניתי אזרחות אבל אני עדיין כאן, עדיין תופס חלקי שיחות באיי-אר-סי, עדיין קורא מאמרים ותגובות ומחכה, בעיקר מחכה.

אתם אולי לא מכירים אותי אם אתם מתחת לרמה 28 וקוראים את זה, אבל הייתי ברקע בימי תור הזהב של אוקטביוס ג'וליוס וראיתי הרבה דברים נעשים ברקע הזה, תוכניות מוצעות, נעשות, מבוטלות, נעשות, ראיתי רעיונות משתנים והופכים למציאות.

יש אמת אחת שאפשר לומר על ההנהגה האי-ישראלית שאני חושב שצריך לבטא בריש גלי ולעיני כל למען שהיא לא תישכח. אך לפני האמת הזו אגיד שלושה דברים:

א) זרים שמנהיגים את המדינה הזו זה דבר טוב. אנחנו לא מדינה כבר הרבה זמן, אנחנו יחידה על שולחן המשחק של ברית, אחרי הקרבה רבה על מנת להיכנס אליה אנחנו לא נמצאים במצב לשנות את זה בכלל בזמן הקרוב. זר שינהיג אותנו יראה שאנחנו מבינים זאת.

ב) אתם צריכים להבין שלברית גם כן יש פוליטיקה. כמו שיווני מסויים אמר לי פעם - בפורום של הרבה שחקנים ומנהיגים שמחליפים רעיונות, רוצים שהאינטרסים של המדינה שלהם יקודמו - האנשים מקשיבים לחזקים. המשחק הזה הוא על כח, תראה חולשה והנקודה שלך כבר לא תקפה. תנו לחזק להוביל אותנו על מנת שקולנו יישמע.

ג) צופה מרחוק רואה דברים ברור יותר. זוהי אמת כלל-עולמית בנוגע להרבה עניינים. תחשבו על זה טוב אם אתם צריכים להוכיח זאת לעצמכם, אבל זוהי אמת לכל דבר ועניין. תאמינו לי בתור הצופה המרוחק שאני - אני אומר את הדברים לא רק מתוך הדאגה שלי ללאום ממנו באתי ואליו אני שייך, אלא מתוך ניתוח הדברים לאורך זמן ולא מהסתכלות מבודדת על נקודת זמן זו או אחרת.

שלבו את כל אלו ותוכלו להבין את עמדתי. ג'ו פרנקו הוא המתמודד הנכון בזמן הנכון. הדברים לא תמיד יהיו בהירים עבור אי-ישראל ואנחנו חייבים לחשוב קדימה. אנחנו [אני משתמש ב"אנחנו" בשביל "אי-ישראלים" מכיוון שזו האזרחות הכי ארוכה שלי במשחק, אותה שמרתי למשך שנתיים וחצי] השתמשנו בזרים בשביל לסייע לנו פעמים רבות בעבר, לא כולם היו נהדרים, אני אודה. אבל אנחנו אוהבים לזרוק עגבניות לכיוון של מישהו ולקרוא לו זר ולהגיד שהוא לעולם לא יהיה מה שישראלי במציאות יוכל להיות בשביל המדינה שלנו. האמת היא שזה שקר גדול שאנחנו אוהבים לספר לעצמנו כדי להמשיך לחשוב שאנחנו יכולים לשמור על פיסת האדמה הוירטואלית הזו ישראלית לחלוטין. ולמה לנו? למה לשקר לעצמנו? למה לא לבטוח ביד מושיעה?

אנחנו צריכים להתפקח ולהתפכח ולהקשיב לרוחות השינוי. המתמודד השני הוא נשיא לשעבר ידוע לשמצה שמתנהג כביריון בדרכו לכנסת ומנחיל את דרך החשיבה שלו על ידי הפורום שהוא מנהיג.

ומנגד יש לנו את ג'ו פרנקו. השם, האגדה, אל-מלחמה בדרגתו.

ראיתי את ג'ו בפעולה בזמן שהייתי ברקע ההוא שסיפרתי לכם עליו, ראיתי אותו עומד על דעתו, בפני נשיאים מקומיים וזרים. צועק את הצעקה שאי-ישראלים לא יכולים לצעוק [מהסיבה שציינתי קודם בנוגע ללשמוע את החזקים], מקבל גישה לפורומים בינלאומיים ושיחות סגורות בגלל מעמדו המכובד בקרב שחקני המשחק הזה. תנו לאח"מ הזה להוביל אתכם והדרך תהיה יציבה יותר מבעבר.

אני לא ארחיב על הכמות העצומה של מאמץ שג'ו השקיע במשחק הזה לטובת אי-ישראל ובהחלט לא ארחיב עוד על אנשים שלא פירשו כהלכה את הדברים וקראו קריאות כנגדו, טענו שהוא מפלצת שבאה להרוס את כולנו [כמו שאמרתי בעבר, אנחנו אוהבים לזרוק עגבניות, זה קל יותר מלשבח עבור רוב האנשים]. בטחו בי כשאני אומר שהדברים שראיתי היו קצה הקרחון. אני יכול גם להבטיח שאני אישית לא ראיתי שחקן שעוד פעיל כעת משתדל כמו שג'ו ניסה לשאת ולתת את התנאים שלנו על מנת להשיג את מטרותינו / לשפר תשתיות ולחשוב מחדש על אסטרטגיות / להקשיב לאנשים ולפעול בהתאם.


אני יכול לומר בכנות שאני חושב שאין מישהו מתאים יותר לנשיאות מאשר ג'ו, לא עכשיו, לא בעתיד הרחוק, אנחנו חייבים לקחת את ההזדמנות הזו בשתי ידיים. זה סביר מאוד שג'ו לא ינסה שוב אם הוא לא ייבחר ואני לא אאשים אותו. זה לא קל לעשות טוב תוך כדי שמציגים אותך בתור האיש הרע. זה מתיישן במהירות ומשאיר טעם רע יותר ויותר עם כל יום שעובר, בעיקר בגלל שאנשים שיודעים את האמת בוחרים נתיבים אחרים וכל מה שנשאר זה רושם מוטעה שהומצא על ידי כמה יחידים רקובים מהיסוד.

אבל מספיק על "יהיה" ו"צריך לקרות". הגיע הזמן להיות ישיר.

- הוא היה שם גם כאשר לא חשבתם שזה אפשרי, קידם את האינטרסים שלנו.
- הוא מסוגל להיות פעיל, אחרת הוא אפילו לא היה מתמודד.

People of eIsrael,

I write to you today as a foreigner and a resident.

I might have changed CS but I'm still here, still catching glimpses of conversations on IRC, still reading articles and comments and waiting, mostly waiting.

You might not know me if you're under level 28 and reading this, but I was in the background in the golden days of Octavius Julius and have seen many things done in that background, seen plans suggested, made, cancelled, carried out, seen ideas changing, coming to be.

There's one truth to be told about eIsraeli leadership that I feel needs to be said in the open, lest it be forgotten. Before that, I'll say three things:

A ) Foreigners leading this country is a good thing. We're not a country anymore, we're a piece on the board in an alliance, after sacrificing a lot to get into it we are in no position to change that anytime soon. A foreigner to lead us shows that we understand that

B ) You need to realize that inside an alliance there are also politics. A certain Greek once told me that in a big forum of players and leaders exchanging ideas, wanting their country's interests met - The people heed to the strong. This game is about strength, show weakness and your point is no longer valid. Let a strong man lead us so our voice will be heard

C ) A distant observer might see things more clearly. This is a worldwide truth regarding many issues. Think about it if you have to prove it to yourself, but it's true nonetheless. Believe me as the distant observer that I am, I'm saying these things not only from my concern to the eNation I come from and belong to, but from analyzing things during a period of time and not from a singled out event or occurrence throughout time.

Combine it all and you can understand my standpoint. Joe Franco is the right candidate at the right time. Things won't always be all sunny for eIsrael and we must think ahead. We've [And I use "we" for " eIsraelis" since it's my longest CS, held in this game for over two and a half years] used foreigners to assist us many times before, not all were great, I'll admit. But we like to throw tomatoes at someone and call him foreigner and say that he'll never be what a RL Israeli can be for our country. Truth is that it's one big lie we like to tell to ourselves to keep thinking we can keep this virtual piece of land truly Israeli. And why should we? Why lie to ourselves? Why not trust a helping hand?

We need to wise up and sober up and listen to the winds of change. The other candidate is a notorious ex CP that bullies his way into congress and assimilates his way of thought by way of the forum he leads.

And then we have Joe Franco. The name, the legened, the God of War.

I've seen Joe in action when I was in that background I was telling you about, I've seen him put his foot down, to CPs both local and foreign. Shouting the shout that eIsraelis can't shout [From the reason I've mentioned earlier about heeding to the strong], getting access to international forums and closed conversations because of his respected status among players of this game. Let this MVP lead you and the path will be less rocky than before.

I won't elaborate about the huge amount of effort Joe has put into this game for the cause of eIsrael and I certainly won't elaborate about people misinterpreting things and making calls against him, claiming he's some monster come to destroy us all [Like I've said before, we like to throw tomatoes, it's easier than giving praise for most people]. Trust me when I say that what I've seen was probably the tip of the iceberg. I can also guarantee that I personally haven't seen any player that is currently active trying as hard as Joe tried to negotiate our terms to gain our goals / improve infrastructures and re-think strategies / listen to the people and act accordingly.

I can honestly say I can think of no one better to be CP instead of Joe, not now, not in a very long while, we must take this opportunity with both hands. It's likely that Joe won't try again if he's not elected and I won't blame him. It's not easy to continue doing good while being portrayed as the bad guy. It gets old too quickly and it tastes too bitter with every day that passes, mainly because people that know the truth choose other paths and all that's left is a wrong notion made up by several individuals that are rotten to the core.

But enough about "would-be"s and "should-happen"s. Time to be straightforward.

- He was there even when you never thought it to be possible. Talking up our interests.
- He is able to be active, he wouldn't be a candidate otherwise.
- Other candidates had their shot, did they make an impact? Do we have so many excellent CPs and no room for someone else to make his mark? If so, let it be. But you tell me - Could you live with the question "What if we had elected him instead of being prejudiced or fearful?" I won't want this question running in my head.
