France / UK. The Renting Agreement
UK, as the country having on its territories: Rubber, Aluminum, Limestone and Deer bonuses, and France are signing together the following Agreement.
The Renting Agreement purpose is to state that France will keep the control over six regions of UK and connect 4 resources to the capital of France and by that action obtain and keep advantage of the Rubber, Aluminum, Limestone and Deer bonuses.
Taking in consideration the RW risks linked to the Determination Bonus rule, a regular “determination reset” period will be scheduled each coming months, making easier to control the regions.

1. France will keep the actual regions under control : South West of England, West Midlands, Yorkshire & Humberside, North West of England, North East of England and Wales
-- Regular activity --
2. UK will NOT launch any NE law or declare war against France, unless this action results from a common agreement for tactical reasons. UK will also NOT open any unagreed RW on the rented regions.
3. If RWs are opened anyway in the rented regions, battles will be closely monitored to avoid the loss of french control. UK will help France to keep control over those regions by ignoring the battle if no particular opposition noticed from the enemy, or by fighting directly on France side !
4. UK and France will discourage their allies from entering the conflict in order to keep things between UK and France.
5. France will ensure UK to have congress every month by releasing a region in case that the rest of UK is completely occupied.
6. France will pay 45.000cc per month of renting fee. It will be a postpaid fee, paid in one time after the reset of the regions every month.

7. As a healthy economic measure between countries, France will return to UK 100% of the taxes collected from the rented regions. The money will be given at the end of every week to UK.

8. As per UK demand, France will occupy Scotland until UK request the liberation of this region.

Ha! It will last as long as it takes one party to break it.... Experience has shown that the average life of such a treaty in Erepublik is less that a month!
ya but how the heck are we gonna break it if regular determination resets are written in to the thing.
The only break that can realistically happen is one where france just wipes us again.
How difficult do you think that administering a 'regular determination reset' is going to be? I would assess that the liklihood of this happening is really quite slim!
