[CP] Speechless but Free

QUETTA, Pakistan - Gentlemen, what to say? This is my fourth attempt to write an article in the last 2 days about what had happened yesterday and today, each time with different emotions. Happiness and overconfidence about winning the battle, then utter sadness about losing it, anger for making one mistake that maybe costed us RW, and then complete surprise over our victory.

We won 6 minibattles easily yesterday, only 1st victory was worth mentioning because Turks were 2 minutes away from winning it but we turned it around, flipped if I accept the new term I have heard yesterday. One battle was saved by great damage control by pakistanii, who, despite not being on IRC at the moment, held the wall perfectly and sacrificed his BH medal.



Then 12th mini, where I was so confident that we will win, that i didn't let MU's who were waiting to attack to turn the wall until 1 hour in. Turks got 800 point lead which we couldn't catch. After that mini, we decided to use the damage we had and call it a day, to fall in a glorious way.



We forced Turkey to abandon priority 1 battle of that day, we forced them to call mercenaries to fight versus us. We made them tank heavily (one guy did 14mil just in mini 12)! Us, a little nation did all that to them, country which is #3 by daily damage! With what? With nothing. Until mini 12, we spent 10 gold in total, and total count doesn't go over 50 gold!

I was exhausted, I just wanted to publish an article and to go to sleep. But I decided to sleep first, and wait for the next RW, as ONE needed more drain.

I checked tomorrow, and I noticed we're winning mini after mini. Having uni stuff to do, I didn't join IRC, but later I found out Turks gave up on that battle. We are free!

For how long? Turns out, not for long. Mavie warned me, I had that in mind as well, but kinda didn't expect China to be so low, I expected them to show some class! They haven't, and declared us as a NE.

In 36 hours, we will be erased again. Maybe, there is still small chance to survive for another day. We could have secured congress, but due to a bug, we couldn't candidate. China was faster than admins. Had they fixed the bug in time, and if we NE'd China before they did it to us, we would have congress in 3 days.

But we won't. Forget about congress. We had fun, that is what matters. Many have joined IRC for the first time, many did their first big damage, felt the thrill I personally haven't felt in 2 years, when Serbs were conquering Lionking from Chinese. And, most importantly, many had shown what they can do, when it really matters.

We have a next generation of leaders, I am happy to see that! I will try mentoring them, but my activity from this point goes down. I have only 2 more months before I am done with university, I got Bachelors project to finish, RL is more important than any game, remember that!

Until then, I have my own game, I proposed Turkey as NE, going to attack them the moment NE law passes. I urge you not to fight in Pakistani battles, please help our allies in EPIC, because we owe them that much, if not more. Fight in EPIC priorities, ignore Pakistan. We are done for this month. But we will be back!
