[AUS CP] Progress

Day 3,221, 11:59 Published in Australia Australia by Aus Prime Minister Office

Hello again,

Hoping this finds you well and eagerly waiting. While nothing changes with Hungarian relations there is progress in other areas. I must say the patience Australia has shown is much appreciated. As I stated at the outset of my term, this is not going to be over in a week. A sustained effort will be required. Continue to do both True Patriot fighting and show our Spanish friends some support with their RWs against Hungary. We both continue to be occupied.

Aussie Military

We have a new helper, a friend from Ireland. I’ve known Don for a number of years. He’s quite the organizer and his plan to makeover our way of doing military is looking good. Please give his recent article a look if you’ve not already. This is extremely important not only to give us better advantage on the battlefield but also in other ways (see below).

Thanks Don, I appreciate you and your friends help!

Allies

As planned we are losing old MPP partners to gain new. The United States will be dropping off the list today. They are busy messing with Indonesia. It may be meant to intimidate Australia, I don’t know. Just odd that they decide to play in our neighborhood just now.

Chile has graciously agreed to continue our MPP. It’s weird how things change over time. We now consider Chile to be one of our biggest supporters and best neighbors. They repeatedly show their friendship towards us.

Venezuela has been having positive things to say. Still waiting on their Congress to decide while we are hopeful for another MPP with a good neighbor.

I am still fighting for Spain in their RWs against Hungary, hope you are too! While I am looking forward to having a closer relation with Spain, be sure they are not ignoring the fact that we can help each other. Many times they’re showing up in our RWs. Let’s not drop the ball, return the favor.

There are other countries that I want to reach out to but i'm limiting myself so that I can concentrate my efforts to develop lasting relations that have deep roots. We will get there Australia, we will succeed where other would have us fail.

Alliance

As I mentioned above, our newfound military organization will be useful, if not mandatory, for our aspiration to a better alliance. Many alliances have requirements. Top alliances want professional people that do a professional job. They don’t have time for wannabes.

Here’s Adriatica’s Charter. In it you will find these requirements for membership:

(7) To become a full member a country should meet the following conditions:
a. Have approximatly 80% of their soldiers damage in one single MU or National movement/organisation which is called ‘National MU’
b. Have elected MC who is in the same time Commander of the National MU
c. Be able to organise national coordinated strikes in their prime time
d. Get approval of the alliance SC to join (if above requirements are met)

I won’t beat this into the ground but this is what Don’s doing for us, creating a National MU that can fulfil these requirements.

I cannot stress enough how important a good alliance is. They work together for common goals. They defend each other's sovereignty. They promote activity. Finally they supply stability and a sense of safety. Now that’s not to say there will not be problems, but when the time comes an individual country is not left to scurry about looking for friends.

Bottom Line

We are moving forward. We are cooperating (congratulations)! We have a plan. We have stable, well balanced community. We have good people. We have new citizens that are both experienced AND excited to be here. Things are looking up Australia.

Almost makes you forget about the occupation…
Almost.
