Join the new world

Hello Australia,

We're moving along now. Our National Power MU is coming together. We are showing great organization and cooperation to get necessary items accomplished for membership in Adriatica. (See below for alliance requirements.) We've had some setbacks too. The United States and Peru have NE’d us. There are “reasons” and I have been contacted by both of those governments. The US decided to drop their NE after speaking with us. I'll report to you if something substantial avails itself with Peru. Until then remain as you have been with the Hungarian occupation, take advantage of battles for TP cash but save your EBs and bombs for the real action coming later. Do continue to dump your excess damage for Spain against Hungary. Use caution! If the battle is not a RW you must MOVE TO SPAIN! (I screwed up the other day.)

Of interest is Venezuela AS of New Zealand. I'll let you know what I find out.




MPPs

Australia is in the process of changing out our MPPs. There has been plenty of discussion about old friendships. While I'm not “burning bridges”, I'm not keeping MPPs with those countries that did nothing when Hungary and the Ukraine did AS us.

One of our old friends were positive, the Czech Republic. They could not officially fight for us but several individuals did go out of the way to deliver plenty of damage attempting to stop the Hungarian AS. After discussion with their CP we renewed our MPP. When the fighting starts it may be broken but that cannot be helped. We hope some other old friends would join in.

On the other hand we have and are in the process of developing new friendships. Chile has been most helpful from the beginning. When the MPP renewal came up the were happy to oblige. Venezuela is another country that wants to help. I expect to MPP them soon. There will be several more MPPs coming quickly if we gain trial membership in Adriatica. (Again, see below.)

Spain is fighting the same fight we are against Hungary occupation. I'm looking into an MPP with them as well.




Congress Vote

As the weekend started I called upon Congress to decide two matters.
Does Australia wish to negotiate paying for our freedom from Hungarian occupation?
Does Australia wish to join the alliance Adriatica?
Both were straight up yes or no questions. I had some trouble filtering out the crap but finally got the results from those that responded. The vote was up all weekend. The results can be viewed here.

Short version is:
No talkie with Hungary.
Yes to join Adriatica, waiting to hear back from them.




Adriatica

You wanted an alliance. We need some support. Problem solved!

Assuming we are accepted for trial membership everything is on track for a little fun for a change. Don is whipping our national MU into shape. We're developing relationships that will prove useful in eradicating our uninvited guests. We understand that alliance membership doesn't guarantee anything but in the long haul the extra damage will drain them financially.

Here’s the part of Adriatica Charter to look at:


Chapter III - Admission and Termination*
Member states must keep signed MPP with all Adriatica members. Countries interested to join the alliance can apply for joining the alliance directly by messaging SG of the alliance.
If the alliance open New membership application process, then:

(1) A country can become a member state of the alliance if it accepts and follows the alliance’s values and principles.
(2) A country could apply to be a trial member of the alliance only if has signed previously MPP`s with all Adriatica members.
(3) After signing MPP’s with all Adriatica members, to become into a trial member of the alliance, the applicant country should be subjected to the unanimous approval of all current member states in order to join.
(4) The trial member should hold a referendum on joining as a member state. It should get the approval of at least 66% of the votes in order to join.
(5) The trial member should recieve support of their congress with the approval of 66% of the voting congressmens if holding a referendum isn’t possible.
(6) To become into a member state of the alliance the new country must stay as trial country for one month. After that term, should be subjected to the unanimous approval of all current member states in order to join. If trial member still doesn’t meet the requirements to join it can apply for another month of trial membership. This can be repeated three times.
(7) To become a full member a country should meet the following conditions:
Have approximatly 80% of their soldiers damage in one single MU or National movement/organisation which is called ‘National MU’
Have elected MC who is in the same time Commander of the National MU
Be able to organise national coordinated strikes in their prime time
Get approval of the alliance SC to join (if above requirements are met)

When this all comes together things will start to happen. Do the TP against Peru but save your good stuff. Help Spain when you can. Be aware that if it is not a RW you must MOVE TO Spain.
