[APP] Presidential Interview with Blackwood

Good evening eAustralia,

As the month draws to an end, we once again find the presidential elections fast approaching. Today, I have the pleasure of bringing you an interview with the APP's presidential candidate for March: Blackwood.285. In the following days, I hope to speak with Mac Vasco and Kronic Clark regarding their candidacies, but, without further ado, I present Blackwoo😛



1). So Blackwood, tell us a little about yourself, who is the man behind the screen, and why did you choose the name Blackwood?


"Hey, Well I'm just a gamer university student, playing this game for about 4-5 years, because I had an old account before in v1. The Blackwood is my nerd name on every online game, so if you encounter someone named Blackwood there is a high chance it is me. It's coming from a novel I've read before."

2). I've heard a story about you and flags, could you please elaborate for our Australian readers?

"What kind of story? I have just 4 flags, each one has a bit of story. I always prefered smaller countries that's why I have Japan and the UAE, I really liked the communities there. The romanian one is funnier, because I was drunk and applied for it and eventually I got one. And of course Australia, my eHomeland. That doesn't really need explanation."

3). Rignt, down to politics. How would you deal with the Peruvian threat, which has plagued Australia for around 4 months now? Diplomacy or force? Could you elaborate?

"First of all I prefer the democratic way, I'm working on a plan about it. I'm confident about the success of it. If somehow it fails, we will work on another way to solve the threat."

4). Asteria is undoubtedly controlling the game, what is your view on them and our history with the alliance. How do you view our current international standing?

"Asteria is close to my heart, because I was in the NEBULA HQ more times (the little brother of Asteria) when it was working properly. Australia did benefit from that partnership, we developed really good relations during that period (for example Montenegro)

Our current standing with Adriatica is quite fresh, there are just a few countries that were allies with us before, we don't have the common history (or we have but not positive). We will see where these new partnerships are going and plan according to that."

5). Communication is an important aspect of government. If elected, how would you communicate with the community and what will your most distinctive policies be?

"At least weekly one article about the news and happening affecting us in the eWorld, if urgent and the situation requires then more. My most important policy is to have fun in this game, because afterall this is just a game, we are playing it to have some fun everyday and meet new people. I'll look forward how to make it more active and exciting for the community."

6). Recently, there has been some controversy regarding returning eAustralians. Do you believe that they should be permanently excluded from the Australian community, or is it better to try and reintegrate them?

"I'm a returning eAussie too, so I don't see any problem about travelling a little around the eWorld and then returning back to the australian community. If the person was an active and useful piece in the country then I'll be glad to welcome him/her back.

Of course there were some harmful elements, that tried to PTO or steal the country before. We must stop them from returning and trying to decay the country."

7). Anything else you would like to add?

"I'll later publish an article about the possible cabinet. Besides this I think we covered everything. Thanks for the interview, mate!"
