[91] ESTONIA - current situation

Hello, dear eAustrians!

This is the second article from me as an ambassador to eEstonia. Hopefully you'll find some useful information.

Military:

The main problem in Estonia right now are the wars. We were fighting against Finland, Romania and Russia at the same time. Estonia's territories were shared by these three countries, but right now Finland has 4 regions and Romania one. That means Estonia has no regions left, all of them are occupied. Though, Estonia is trying hard to fight in RW-s, but so far with no positive result.
Also our neighbour and good ally Latvia is conquered by Romania. Interesting is that Romania itself has only one original region left, all the others are conquered.
If someone would like to help Estonia, then sometimes supplies are given in #kaitsevagi @ Rizon.

Politics:

Congress elections

The congress elections which were held on the 25th ended pretty logically.
Congress seats were distributed like this:
39% Eesti Rahvuslased
26% Uus Eesti
19% My Birthday Party
14% Isamaalised Liberaalid

It was not a surprise that Eesti Rahvuslased won the elections, because this is the biggest and I would say most active party currently in Estonia.
Uus Eesti is not a new party, but it is kind of a rising star. It is getting more active with every month. That's why they deserved the second place.
My Birthday Party is pretty new and small (23 members), so they have done great job! They got 8 congress seats.
Isamaalised Liberaalid was the biggest party in Estonia for long time. Also it was the most active party in Estonia. Right now it is dead. So it wasn't a surprise that they got the last place in the elections.

Presidential elections

Currently there are three candidates for the upcoming elections:

Mister Margooni (My Birthday Party, supported by Eesti Rahvuslased) - an experienced player, been president for three times before. Most likely the winner of tommorrow's elections. Although he has had several conflicts with political opponents (from Uus Eesti for example).
Uno Nisu (Uus Eesti) - a really young and active player. He was a candidate last month too and offered a great battle against Viskaja, experienced and really active player. So Uno Nisu might suprise everybody again by offering a great battle against Mister Margooni too. There are some rumors that this might not be the first account for Uno Nisu (because he is too active and knows too much for a new player).
Jantsa (Isamaalised Liberaalid) - an experienced player who hasn't been very active lately, because of his real life. Probably won't have any chance against other candidates. He had a scandal while he was in a government for about year ago. A pretty solid amount of EEKs got missing and he told he made a little mistake on the monetary market. Some said that he is a thief and so on. He has paid all the money back from his own pocket by now.
