Vote or die
PhoenixGreen
Hello Australia.
I've served a very active term as Senator, representing progressive change in the legislative chamber. I also currently serve on srg91's cabinet as Deputy Minister of Information and as Vice Party President of the Australian Parliamentary Party.
Starting on the 26th of January, I aim to represent South Australia in the Senate.
I will, in all things, represent the interests of the Australian Parliamentary Party. You should join it.
Any member can propose something and if it gets enough support inside the party, I and my fellow APP Senators will fight for it until it becomes Law.
Come. Join the APP. A vote for me is a vote for yourself.
That is all.

Vote or die! A simple choice really...
What about fighting for the best interests of the state? Sometimes you have to horsetrade to get something in return and that's not exactly the strong point of most Senators.
What "progressive" change did you bring?
"representing progressive change"
I think I represented progress, change and review in every topic actually.
I was for the Speaker Standing Orders reform.
I was for the Ouke Immigration bond proposition
I was for the sweeping review of all expired law after the IG pointed out that the constitution nullified most of our documents.
Indeed most every push in the Senate either came from the APP or was heavily sponsored by the APP.
Doesn't get much more progressive than that.
Why should people vote for you? What do you plan to achieve in the senate?
"What do you plan to achieve in the Senate?"
I plan to facilitate reform. I run the APP forum and mediate our law development process. Ultimately, our objectives are determined by votes and suggestions from APP members, but to give you and others an idea of the sort of things we're looking at, here's our agenda for the first week:
- Re-do every law passed before April 2011, reforming or removing where needed or wanted
This includes, but is not limited to:
Non-Elected Senators Standard Protocol - (09/10)
Senate Anti-Take Over and Non-Elected Senators Act (12/10)
eAustralian House of Lords Act (08/10)
Order of Australia Act (08/10)
Freedom of Information Act (04/09)
Government Secrets Act (04/09)
Portfolio Budget Act (04/09)
Executive Order Act (02/09)
Referendum Guidelines and Standards Act (05/09)
Citizenship and Quota for Immigration Act (08/09)
Senate (Code of Conduct) Act (01/10)
- Realise Ouke's immigration reform, including (probably) rewriting immigration law from scratch
- Explore the possibility of creating a Bureau of Statistics, likely integrating it into the Ministry of Information
And of course we'll be processing proposals from new APP members and Senators in the first week, some of which will undoubtedly be tabled in the Senate during this term.
Why vote for me? Because I know what I'm doing, and because I represent a conduit through which ordinary citizens and Members can have their ideas realised in a real and binding way, through a Senate mandate.
VOTE OR DIE!
You heard the man!
He's a hardworking senator of eAustralia, he is good!
