Hello,

We've made it. Thank you very much to everyone who contributed to our success, as well as everyone who voted! I assure you that you've made the best possible choice.

We shall begin immediately with the cabinet. I will be keeping much the same structure that Nithraldur had, in terms of an office of Ministers, Deputies and Juniors. What I hope to introduce is putting our best citizens as our Ministers and Deputies, with our most promising as Juniors. Party politics will take something of a back seat.

I ask everyone interested, including all current position holders to submit applications. I'm setting a loose deadline of Wednesday 8th of June, 6PM GMT.

Things you may want to include in these applications are:
Experience - What positions you have held in the past
Activity - How much time you spend on eRepublik, and how much you contribute to the eIrish Forums
Ability - Why you feel you're best for the job.

Just a personal note; if you have any interest in any of these departments, and think that you could either do these jobs or you have the ability to learn, be sure to drop me an application. This time three months ago, I submitted one for Minister of New Citizens, thinking there was little to no chance of getting the position. I was pleasantly surprised, so maybe you will be too.

Operates the State Companies, and monitors the country's finances.

Ensures that citizens in Ireland are able to maintain a high level of Wellness

COMMUNITY AND ENTERTAINMENT
Provides services to make eIreland enjoyable, gives a sense of community, and looks after the new citizens.

EDUCATION
Runs the University of Ireland in the forums.

INFORMATION
Reports events relevant to the eIrish public, such as events in congress and in the cabinet.

A shiny new position. Lessening the considerable burden on the Department of Foreign Affairs, co-ordinating with ambassadors and through established contacts out there in the world frequently brief the government on what's happening.
