Unity.

In response to this article I felt the need to define unity and acquiescence.

u·ni·ty
/ˈyo͞onətē/
Noun
1. The state of being united or joined as a whole, esp. in a political context.
2. Harmony or agreement between people or groups.
Synonyms
oneness - harmony - concord - union - unit - agreement

ac·qui·es·cence (a-kwe-esns)
n.
1. Passive assent or agreement without protest.
2. The state of being acquiescent.

The statement "You know what would go a long way towards creating Unity? If the DNP dumped their party leader." made my eyes bleed in it's hypocrisy.

Unity is finding common ground to work together for the greater good. I will just throw an example out there....Being occupied by Taiwan.

Acquiescence is passively giving in to the demands of others.

I wonder which is the intent of this person?
