United We Stand, Divided We Fall

Day 1,775, 01:33 Published in USA USA by Azazel Romanov

So as I mentioned in a previous article, there has been mention of a unity candidate arising. As far as I know, the major candidates are Israel Stevens, John Jay, Gnilraps, Potato, and John Largo (correct me if I have gotten this wrong or left someone out). However, the issue isn't really which of these people runs this country. The issue is to ensure at least one of these candidates runs the country. As fingerguns has recently stated in her article on this issue, we have to pick one, and be solidly behind them. Otherwise we risk opening ourselves up to something worse.

In my first article, I decided against labeling RGR and the AFA as terrorists, which is certainly something others disagreed with. But I didn't do this to brand them as those with good intention, or to suggest that they are within their rights to do their acts. It’s just that I have a different definition of terrorism than the administration or other writers. Terrorism is the act of causing fear among a populace in order to stir chaos and discontent. I don’t know about the rest of the USA, but I know how I feel about this.

I am not afraid, and I am not alone.

If AFA and all who support them are terrorists, they are doing a poor job. First, they failed to gain a majority or even a third of congress. Sure, we say they can approve enough citizens to beat us, but we forget we have allies and more approvals than them. They have the will to attack, but those who wage an offensive defense will always have the upper hand. And we are not a nation to threaten without response.

I am not undermining the need for a unity candidate. What makes us strong is our ability to stand up and fight again and again. We have been beaten, we have been wiped, but we have never been extinguished. Our spirit is strong, our willingness to work together never fades, and our story will continue.

I apologize if this sounded more like rhetoric than detail, but times call for more inspiration along side a set of facts. We have the numbers and the activity, it is up to us to utilize our resources. I have yet to vote or endorse any candidate, but as long as they are qualified, I would support them beyond all other pretenders.

Added Note
For those who would read this article and question my opinion of AFA or any affiliated member, I ask you to read this article. Congress seats are not auctions or prizes for contests. You don't get to govern or vote on critical issues due to party recruitment. You should be selected to run solely on merit, not favoritism or by prize. You don't reward people who support the party, you reward people who improve the nation.
