I am pleased to announce that this term the Permanent Secretary to the Treasury will be Vinners. Vinners has a wealth of experience in all areas of the game, and I am excited to be working with him. On top of his operational portfolio, his task this month will be to help oversee a small overhaul at the Treasury, as certain long term plans come to fruition, as well as analytic input. This means the recruitment and selection of a dedicated staff of Underministers with various roles within the ministry.
We are therefore making the following positions available

Senior analyst:
Duties: Preparing data and written reports on topics ranging from tax analysis to historic issues of GBP and to MM peaks. Liaison at UnderMinister level, with other branches of Government

1x Senior Trader, 4x Arbitrage Traders:
Duties:
Arbitrage Traders are expected to be active on currency markets, selling offers of GOLD for currencies, and then selling them back for small levels of profit. This work is not glamorous, but does help give an understanding of currencies and those that fluctuate on a regular basis. From time to time, dispensation may be given to make small speculative investments, based on experience, and reported market analysis. Ability to feed back information about emerging currency opportunities. Promotion prospects to Senior Trader is entirely possible, and encouraged.
Senior Trader is expected to balance a portfolio of arbitrage work as above, but will have more leeway with investment opportunities.
