The Six Theses - Why I Left DemNL.
NoTie112
Dear citizens of The eNetherlands,
I do not have a problem with everyone in DemNL, not at all! I like most of them and wished I could still work together with them. I'm just having problems with the party policies. I want to thank Kimberly, Dennis, Shrubbery, DimLightHero, Broersje, Hindrik, Daniel Parker and ArtemIvanov (I'm sure I forgot some!) for giving me a great and exciting time in eRepublik!
There are clear misunderstandings about my and my loyalty. Questions are being placed by my move from DemNL to CLN. I'm being called a backstabber and a traitor. I should have explained it and announced my move, I confess. However, I'll try to explain myself anyway.
When I&W split off the party 'Verenigd Nederland', it didn't take long to proclaim 'DemNL' from the ashes of VN, which purpose, evading a PTO, wasn't needed anymore. I didn't have a lot of sympathy with DemNL, but it was either that or I&W, because I was focused to participate in the politics once again. I enjoyed the party and especially the people in it, we had good times which shouldn't be forgotten. I have spent countless hours in the party management. I have helped to get DemNL established once again in The eNetherlands. But I had my problems from the very beginning.
First, and most importantly, the direction which the party always had and is taking. It's focused too much on trivial issues which doesn't matter in eRepublik, for example the grade of democracy in our nation. Other things include a lot of bureaucracy, like appointing more and more institutions like CRAP and maintaining The Senate, without the dare to radically reform it.
Secondly, the things that have been internally happening. I won't discuss this in details, as I still haven't lost my honor and pride, as others suggest. Some people, even within the party, are being ridiculed, without their knowledge, a despicable act in my opinion.
Thirdly, the autocracy within DemNL. DemNL has always been promoting it self as a new and fresh party against the 'old' Iron & Wine, but has become an Elite themselves, with a few people carefully keeping things in check and appointing their puppets.
Fourthly, the rules who are being created by DemNL members to their own likings, while they're the ones preaching of everything being clearly written down and being acted according to. Prime example is the refusal of Shakerr's citizenship, while he was a respected and hard working statesman in our history. Completely bypassing the rules of the Immigration Office, they had placed Shakerr on the list of illegal citizens, which was later adjusted.
Fifthly, the spam. Simple as that. Every election, even for Party President, everyone's wall and inbox is trashed by DemNL. I know every party does that, even my own, but not in the numbers DemNL does.
Sixthly, the slander. Certain DemNL members have been continuously placed comments about others, most of the times cynical, which can be considered slanderous and insulting.
There are sure a lot of other things which can't be discussed openly, or I can't remember now. People are asking for a explanation, here you got.
I have decided to join CLN (Center Left Netherlands), as I couldn't function within DemNL anymore. CLN, being led by Pierre and joined by Shakerr, is out there for those who aren't satisfied with their party anymore, or for those who just start with their political eLife. We welcome everyone who belongs to either group.
Center Left Netherlands
We DO have the dare to discuss the controversial issues.

Congress member CLN
Comments
Tonie, maybe change "Congress member CNL" into "Congress member CLN". 😉 And I'm suprised Shakerr joined CLN, because we wanted to join eNL, to eDie as far as I know http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/farewell-and-goodluck-emacedonia--1871829/1/20 For the record, Shakerr was an important citizen for a big Ally of Poland. That was the main reason, SCI was thinking not letting him in.
About the spam, some of my mates received ingame messages from you with the request of joining CLN. So what the difference?
I wish you all the best in CNL or CLN and hope you have a good carreer there.
cynical tone>
Thanks, edited.
it's a shame you left 🙁
The first is a legitimate opinion, the second I can't comment on, the third is bullshit, the fourth happened more than a week after you left DemNL, the fifth is bullshit, as all parties do that, and the sixth is part of a big campaign of accusing members of DemNL of constantly throwing mud when they try to state their own opinion, something that has become impossible of late without this coming up again.
If the above are the reasons why you left, I wish you all the best. Bye.
Best wishes, I think all that had to be said has been said allready, so I'm not adding anything more.
veel succes bij CNL :}
It's a shame you didn't ever bring up any of these points in internal discussions. That and your recent attitude really bother me.
Anyway, good luck being a Leftist bastard 😁
7. This do not bring our country any further.

lol, Shakerr's citizenship wasn't refused, it was [pending] until someone let him in illegally.
Goodluck with CNN
yes, pending, lets stick with that 😛
