Economy? What Economy?!?

It seems that there may be a problem or two with the Economic changes that have been made lately. The Admins may have not taken into account all the implications of allowing an ecitizen to work in up to eighty of his/her own companies. It's true that you can now only buy one of each, but if you had a dozen or more in your orgs and donated them to yourself, they are still there. Hmmm...


And you thought the ERX thing was bad!


Cival Unrest

There were people upset all over eRupublik, for various reasons. The economy just happened to be one of them. One man had this to say about the economic changes made by the Admins.

Another person seems to be upset because the Admins performed ancient sacred rites to resurect some banned players unfairly. He is rather adamant about it and raises several good points to back his argument.

One more had this to say about how FP's (or Forfeit Points) are distributed unfairly.

These are just a sample of what's on the forum. The internationl mood is not very pleasant, eCitizens just plain ain't happy.




Are the Admins Joking?

They (Admins) have found a dusty, old puppet and put their hand up his back to put on a show for us! We're so lucky! It's just like the "Toy Story" series, sans the cool computer animation, action and plot.



Plato (on left), seen with Co-Grand Marshal, Buzz Lightyear (to the right of Plato) and other friends, in a parade down the Main Street of Athens, Greece yesterday. This parade was to celibrate the triumphal retun of Mr.Plato as Governor of eRepublik. However, a short while after this picture was taken, an angry mob attacked. Several bystanders were hurt as the rioters hurled rocks and broken bottels at Plato. He was uninjured and hurried away to an undisclosed location by the eRepublik Secret Service.



Acorrding to officials in Athens, the fire that broke out after Mr. Plato fled for his life, was not due to the riot, which they say was quickly subdued. But rather was the unintensional act of a cow owned by Catherine O'Leary. Mrs. O'Leary was unavailable for comment.


To Wrap This Up

I believe there are gonna be some dramatic changes in eRepublik. Changes I do not believe the Admins intended. It's going to be difficult to get anywhere at all with out buying gold, unless your already set with some companies. New players had a bad enough time with fighting too much and ruining their health. Now they will be lucky to find jobs. People will get bored that liked the challenge of bein' da boss and political parties will turn into even bigger cliques. C'est la vie.
