State of the eWorld

Day 2,232, 11:20 Published in Ireland Ireland by Paddy OBrien

We are in an interesting time in our eworld. The super alliance TWO is proving to be very shaky as recent changes have led to the return of long conquered territories. At this time, it isn't apparent if the alliance will survive it's internal conflicts, or if a leader will be able to pull them together.

On our home front, the regions of Cork and Wexford have been rented to the eUSA. The government traded our a large portion of our shield for a rental income with which it currently intends to improve training grounds of citizens. Part of the rental deal has been the signing of NAP's with the eUSA and eUK, intended to bring some security to all three enations involved. This has led to some interesting discussions betweeen supporters and opponents of the idea. It still remains to be seen if this will prove to be a long term deal with benefits to all.

We have a new star among our home political parties, as The Left Hand of Ireland, led by Cry of the Banshee has risen to 3rd ranking among our parties and secured seats in the Dail. A shaking up of established parties appears to be possible, and I hope it will lead to a revitalization of our political system. New faces in office and the Dail will strengthen us all, as long as we ensure we vote for those dedicated to a strong and secure eIreland.

Currently the eUK is being dominated by eFrance, possibly leading to a wipe. It will be interesting to see if ePoland allows this or decides to come in after the wipe, again, and carve themselves off a region or two, again. We do extend sympathy to our neighbors, who were robbed by their CP. Such an action can not be approved of, and we need to ensure monitoring of our own financial security.

In closing, if you are looking for a political party and do not find any that fit your own views, consider joining Independent Voices. We are not dogmatic as we represent all points of view. We do not attempt to dictate the actions or conscience of any of our members, asking only that you support our enation.
