Solutions for Q7 prices and season packs

Good evening, my dear friends!

A crisis has struck our community out of blue, tank prices are soaring, season packs has made lower division players to start roaring, and overall player satisfaction has dropped so low, that James Cameron is preparing his submarine for a mission to see how does depths of eRepublik satisfaction oceans looks like. Luckily for us, the eRepublik players who have adapted for life in such pressure and darkness, there is a beam of light, since Q6 and Q7 houses, as well as city elections, are coming soon, but still, we need to get to the bottom of the issues that are plaguing our New World. That is why I stand here, in front of you, ready to provide real solutions for real problems, so lets get started.

Tank prices

Many players have noticed a major spike in Q7 tank prices, and, no longer being able to feed themselves and “their families”, are voicing their dissatisfaction in friends feed. I am not a conspiracy theory supporter, but all of this is fault of the elites. Battalion 20 tanks are getting so much free money that they can outbid everyone in job market, which obviously causes rise in commodity prices. The situation has gotten so bad, that me, a battalion 6 pleb, are losing money while fighting in TP battles. The situation is unacceptable and needs a solution badly, so here I am offering you couple who I came up with:

- Reintroduce “Boost the economy days”, but this time each hit would consume not twice, but five times the usual amount of resources. Some might say that this will not improve anything. I agree. But the logic behind this is that if I can`t afford to fight with weapons, no one should. Weapons would be like birthday cake – use them once a year when something important happens.
- Ban everyone battalion 20 player. No more game ruining high amounts of easy cc. Solution more or less explains everything by itself. When reaching Battalion 20, a pop up would appear giving them two options – restart their account or receive permanent ban and eRepublik t-shirt in color of their choice.
- Introduce communism model. Allow governments to set max salaries and commodity prices. This module requires an article by itself, which, hopefully, is coming soon.

Season packs

Many lower division players are extremely dissatisfied with frequency of availability and content of the so called season packs. As many of you know, they are available couple times a year and contains a great amount of very temporary Cruise Missles and less temporary Big Bombs. In combination with Maverick pack, this means a break in hunting season for lower division players, as well as hit buyer cash river experiencing a very serious drought.

I, as a division 4 player, do not really care about this, but making our community better is a goal which I try to fulfill each and every day, so here are solutions I can proudly propose:

- encourage most popular script authors to introduce “Mute players below level 70 in your friends feed” button. Living in denial and ignoring problems usually is the easiest way.
- Plato could introduce sounds when someone drops a bomb. For example, every time someone drops a Cruise Missile, the game would play a clip from Justin Biebers song “Sorry” to every player who has made at least one hit in that battle/division. Big Bombs probably would require full playback of Elton Johns “Sorry seems to be the hardest word”.

So, once again the day has been saved. I feel like I have done my job and am happy knowing that now finally players will be able to sleep at night knowing that solutions for these problems have been found.
