Ladies and Gentlemen,

After taking a long sabbatical, a hiatus of sorts, I have decided to return to a game I had loved playing for as long as I can remember (8 years, I believe). It seems that over the year’s break I’ve had, eSwitzerland has gained some new faces, and has also welcomed some old ones. We have also lost memorable members of the community that I’m sure we all miss.

The country has blossomed whilst I have been away, with what seems to be a united front against the forces that try to overwhelm our stronghold of freedom. I am proud to say that I am Swiss, but to tell you the truth, I’m more glad to be back more than anything else.

For those of you whom don’t know me, I am Joseph Rich. I have held the Presidential office of Switzerland for 3 terms as well as various other positions over the course of my time here. I am from Brisbane, Australia and I’m currently a full-time student studying Business and Law at University.

As we continue into the month, and of course into the New Year, I will be making myself more available, checking in often and making sure that I keep busy. If you have any tasks I may be able to help you with, or if you’re just up for a friendly chat, please don’t hesitate to contact me!
