I remember a time when our treasury was overflowing. When we had a Minister of Finance who would earn the country mountains of wealth despite minimum tax settings, then report their budgets to the public.
A time when the Minister of Information would let us know with frequent updates that the cabinet was not only alive, but working hard and achieving things. When the public knew, for certain, whether their government was active or dead. When we knew that progress was being made.
A time when the Minister of Education would run a channel, a newspaper and a rewards scheme dedicated to increasing player recruitment and retention - the surest way to making eAustralia powerful.
A time when the Minister of Immigration/Security would interview immigrants BEFORE letting them in, cross checking their history and keeping tabs on PTO threats.
A time when the Minister of Foreign Affairs would earn favours and develop relationships with important people around the world. When diplomacy was an economic and military boost, when it provided regional security and kept our nation whole.
A time when the Minister of Defence would wake early and sleep late directing mercenaries, distributing supplies and spamming the newsfeeds with the latest orders.
A time when we had a 24/7 government full of active players.
If we ever want to see that kind of government again, we need energy.
We need a CP to draw that energy from all sides of the political spectrum to fill the ranks, stop the bickering and simply get the job done.
I'm PhoenixGreen
I'm an extremely active and energetic citizen with a patriotic burn and an appetite for management.
For more than eight months I've been Party President of the APP, the largest and most successful political Party in the country.
I've also served five terms in the Senate where I rewrote many of our laws. I worked furiously: patching holes, cutting fat and working to forge a simple, powerful and open system.
I've been in Executive cabinets left and right - I'm intimately familiar with the responsibilities of public office.
Give me a chance to prove my worth in the top job.
I have the energy, the patience and the attention for detail to see eAustralia out of this storm.
Make eAustralia whole again
I want a full and sovereign eAustralian nation.
I don't want to be a doormat anymore. I want our country to be a regional power.
I'll do everything I can to increase player retention and swell our ranks, but to really punch above our weight we need to be SMART and ORGANISED.
I want one eAustralian to be worth five eChileans.
This will be my central focus and I will exhaust every effort to make it so.
If it is possible, I'll get it done.
And if over 20 days of non-stop and all-out attack I fail to restore the nation, at the very least, I'll get us a congress.
Bring back Ministers
Each Minister needs a specific purpose and role. I believe in specialisation. Economists for MoF, MU leaders for MoD, Media Moguls for MoI and diplomats for MoFA. I will gather active players from all sides, from every and any political Party.
I will run a practical government, with a logically organised and professional cabinet.
Free and Open Reporting
Cabinet reports will be regular, CP announcements will be frequent and budget reports will be published for all to see.
Bring back Services
Education, reports, supplies, competition, border security, anti-pto, diplomacy, war coordination, public dialogue. We've all missed having an active and competent government. I'll bring it back.
No slacking
I won't tolerate inactivity. Every Department is substantial and important, I will set specific and measurable tasks for every member of my government. Ministers will be replaced or reshuffled swiftly if they underperform.
Unleash the military
At the moment our forces are fumbling around in the dark. We can do better: mercenaries, weapon supply, coordination, ALLIES.
A PhoenixGreen Administration will give us teeth.
Consistent and hardworking
I have a long history of hard work in eRepublik. I won't fade away when the country needs me most or when the job gets difficult.
I'll work hard through thick and thin, I'll do everything I can for the Nation right up to the last minute of my term.
I thrive in challenging environments. You can rely on me.
Give me this job and I'll turn our fortunes around.

The APP is the part that has been behind most of the bickering and butthurtness this month
Binda33 has been the face of it, but people like PG are in the comforts of the APP forums playing along.
None the less, goodluck PG.
Also it will be interesting to see how the APP fixes their wipe. I say the APP's wipe because it happened under an APP government and no doubt binda33 and co would be a part of a PG APP government.
Binda33 has made it clear in recent times that she purposely got us wiped by eChile and wants us remained wiped, so i'm wondering what Binda33's role would be in a new eAustralian government.
PG, will you be stating Binda33's role clearly before the CP elections so the citizens can make a informed decision about whether or not they would want to risk Binda33 in government again?

How can we do better? How will you be funding more mercs and supplies?
It's a well written article, but it's like every other CP article. low on detail, just the usual "we will work hard" lines and broad statements like "increase supply"
Where the clear dot points on what you are doing to do and how you are going to do it?
Personally I'd like to know the positions all of the mudslingers would hold?
Most of these people should not be, or be associated with the face of eAustralia.

LordWal: Unfortunately most of the active eAustralian population has been taking part in mudslinging recently. If I want to have enough people to fill my cabinet, it's time for an amnesty on all sides.
About 80% of my cabinet (So far) are from OUTSIDE the APP. I'm taking active players from all sides.
That sai😛 there will be NO mudslinging in my cabinet. If a cabinet member mudslings, they're fired. Simple as that.
We'll stick to the job at hand and be as helpful as possible to citizens.

eAustralia has lost close to 100 citizens in the past month. Hopefully there is a strong, legitimate plan to increase player retention unlike those promised by recent administrations.
They are probably multis.
You are kidding yourself if you think a government can somehow magically keep people from leaving.
However, it's a good platitude to go along with the rest in CP campaign articles.

No. eAustralia was at a stable 1000 citizens before your term began and within the last month it has declined to the lower 900's. People like PJK and I have left. Active, helpful people. eAustralia is losing some of her most experienced and significant players.
