Today i bring u an interview with the president of eSpain - Li Shaoran, it took few days to make this interview cuz we didnt had alot time but we succeed make it. Spain is one of the most stable country in the game the last occupation was more than 200 days.

1. Hello Mr. President - Li Shaoran, thank you for agree to make this interview with me, would u agree at first to introduce yourself?

Hello everyone!

I'm Li Shaoran, player of eRepublik since the end of 2009. I lived the V1 and will continue to criticize Alexis for life for the damage he did to the game since the end of V2.

I have dedicated the whole eLife to social issues: Creating collaborative newspapers, online radio, education and social projects... Then I focused a bit on the organized military, until the traditional joint effort lost all reason for being for the PayPerWin.

Since then, I have survived roughly in eR, with small bursts of activity. I was president a few months ago, and I was retired from active life. Until this month I have been chosen by force... In a strange way xD


2. What u love the most about eRep?

I especially loved the idea of a simulated society, with all the complexity. The political currents, the varied journalism, the history created from scratch with its epic battles (Hellokitty, RA, PARIS!) and great strategies...

The politics beyond the game, the social beyond the game, the friendships that I have made.

eRepublik was a great game. And the people. From what is currently... A forum that barely survives, playing farmville with TW everywhere and all of us staying just to see how this world ends...


3. Can u tell us about ur daily job as the president of eSpain?

Open training battle in the morning first thing. Open battle of training at the time of the Spanish lunch. Make a meeting to fight together, with citizens and military forces, at night. That is sadly everything. Nothing to do with how a government was years ago.

It's sad, and that's why I was able to assume the presidency when I found out xD

To this, add review the issue of MPPs and various initiatives that we are trying to launch: Helps bussiness people, to the acquisition of houses, to motivate writers, contests...

But I take it calmly and according to what can be done. eR already deserves little priority in the day to day of any person, even if he is President.



4. What is the most hard at ur job as a president?

Survive the boredom of my society, represented by its congressmen and their eternal NE to a member of our diplomatic side such as eCuba, no matter how much they welcome low-valued members and exiles from eSpain xDDD

And try to find out if there is a damn real battle in this whole decadent world.


5. The last time that ur country land was conquered was before something like 200 days how u and the presidents before u succeed to keep ur country lands safe?

Above all, excellent diplomatic work done many months ago, with many governments that did much to help our closest allies in the last global war.

Effort of diplomacy and effort of wars, which allowed us to take control and security over our enormous economic resources.

Thanks to the coordinated effort of our soldiers during the resource war, we have the second best global bonuses after the United States if I remember correctly. And now we also have good soldiers and good allies; together with good relations with neighbors.

And well, with all TW everywhere... It's not very difficult. I was president last September and the world was boring, right? XD

The important thing is a good diplomacy, won by the effort for the allies when it is really necessary.

6. Why u decide to go for a war with eIndia and eNorway or it is a TW?

A wonderful TW maintained for months and with good agreements. I maintain direct contact with both governments and the truth is that I do not complain about it; given the global situation.

What I complain about is the boring, unbalanced and PayPerWin that the admins have made the game.



7. Can u please tell me about the relationship between Spain and US if there is any?

Currently, as far as I know, they are practically non-existent. Although I already say that I have entered this month fortuitously, so I do not know in detail the work of the previous governments.

I remember eons ago, as we were allies in EDEN (so old times) and CTRL after ONE. And well, personally, I have a perception of USA in what I have seen over the years, of being very "America First". But it is mere personal perception, and would have no problems in the dialogue, as we are beginning to maintain with Argentina, our historical rivals.


8. What do u think about the war on USA lands and the fact that USA lost so fast so many lands?

Honestly, I was not active when the invasion. But in my first presidency, there were several war appearances. I think the United States has acted too quietly on their land, without worrying too much about others. Or, at least, I think it is the impression he has given to many, winning many enemies or countries with bad impression, and without counting on many allies willing to fight for them.

That a country of that size and population be invaded with impunity is a symptom of the international isolation to which they have come, as we were in the past or not so little with the South American countries. It is a mere impression, and I warn you that I may be missing a lot of information. But given the information I handled in my previous presidency, which was more up to date, the United States has to do much to win new allies who really care about them. We fought in times of war, while we were occupied by foreign powers, in the battles of our allies. In bad times, good friendships are won, and I have the impression that the USA has to work harder on that.


9. Can u please tell us about ur country allies and how u collaboration together?

Our main allies are Bulgaria, Macedonia, United Kingdom, France, Serbia and Poland, in my opinion. This month we are increasing communication with other allies, such as Brazil or Ukraine. But, with the situation of lack of real wars, honestly communication is very limited for having few reasons for it, although from my government we try to recover more communication. Mainly many things are moved by Telegram, although currently we work to increase our communication by Discord.

Our goal is to increase bilateral communication with our allies in the coming weeks.



10. Tell us about some old wars which ur country took part

Obviously, to my mind comes the times of V1, where the battles were disputed and having many people and organized was the important thing, not the VISAs (which had an effect, but they had much more limited their influence). Times when the arrival of soldiers with their frames imposed respect.

Since the first French occupation in August 2009, I remember the epic battle (in the real sense of the word) where we conquered Paris in New Year's Eve 2009.

From there, in 2010 and 2011, many epic battles the RA, HK, LK (Who know what is this here? XD) and the times of the famous Spanish-Polish empire.

11. Do u think to run for another term?

Well, this month I found out that I was a candidate for my party, supported by a Top 5 and chosen quite confidently, on the 6th. XDDD

So I hope my fellow citizens let me rest like 2cliker again 😛


12. Do u have any advice for the other president at Erepublik?

We are very few alive in eRepublik, so we encourage you to encourage interaction between your citizens, and those of other countries. The majority that we follow here, is because of the people we know (the game has long been ... disappointing).

I recommend that they focus on effort in the community, it's the only thing that's worth it.


13. Before we end, do u have any message u want to send to our readers?

Rivalries are temporary, today's enemies will be allies tomorrow; and vice versa. Take the game for what it is: A game. Take the opportunity to make friends, relate with people and prioritize what is important: People.
