We've all seen your self-involved ads and articles declaring your intent to leave eRepublik en masse. Indeed, admin calling it the Republic of Macedonia instead of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia is the greatest of affronts... especially against a ridiculously frail, frantic, and moronic populace.
Contrary to what you Greeks are claiming, the internationally-recognized name is NOT "The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia." The internationally-recognized name is the REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA.

The Republic of Macedonia is a member of the UN and the Council of Europe and is a candidate for both membership in the European Union and NATO.
But, what's much more important than your contradictory-to-reality mass hysteria is the fact that for over a year now, The Republic of Macedonia has been clamored for on eRepublik.ws.
The securities of RL Macedonians in eRepublik far outweigh the insecurities of RL Greeks in eRepublik.
As has been handily outlined in this temper tantrum many Greeks are quitting in retribution to the name of the new country. The way-too-long and pompous article claims that the name suggests Greece is an "occupier" of their region named Macedonia.
When admin added Ireland, were the Brits supposed to get their panties in a twist? The Macedonian province of Greece is just that, a region of a sovereign nation. The Republic of Macedonia is its very own sovereign nation. If anything, Yugoslavia was the "occupier." Greece hasn't occupied anything for centuries.
I'm sure I speak for thousands when I say that your mass exodus from the game (if any of you have the balls to actually carry it out) is nothing but a social Darwinian cleansing of active players.

Although I'm not a big supporter of Greek site this is very wrong. Ppl living in this "FYROM" will now take credit and claim to all of Macedonian history.
Furthermore when it comes to FYROM I say Greeks should focus more on Albanians in this country and same with their regions - Epirus and Macedonia ; )

It is a name indeed. There is a country with the same name of a region of yours, both are part of the historical region of Greater Macedonia

Macedonia is a sovereign country, which has a shared history with Greece. In antiquity Macedonia was stronger than the Greek Kingdoms when Phillip II came to power. Alexander the Great forced the kingdoms into submission before he turned his sights onto Persia.
You can either look like crybabies and quit over the name of another country which you have no sovereignty over irl, or attempt to conquer it in eRepublik. Your choice, Greece

What ALL you dumb Greeks don't understand is that admin honors the RL sovereignty of the nations it adds to the game, and goes to a further point to simplify them (no "Democratic Peoples Republic of North Korea").
China is China and carries the Chinese communist flag EVEN THOUGH those from the "Republic of China" might have issues with it. Though, Taiwan is the commonly accepted name... therefore Taiwan is being added to the game.
