NO PTO

Day 3,163, 15:50 Published in Georgia Turkey by Tolga Kok

Hello Georgia,

We are group of friends who were tired of dictatorship in Turkey. We aimed to move to an ally of Turkey to help develop the country through fighting in battles and being active in politics to transfer our experience. We started with establishing a MU and gather in a political party.

We came here to make friends, not to harm relation of Turkey with its closest ally. If we had intention of PTO, we would move either to a hostile or neutral country.

I can't talk on behalf of my friends, but since I came here I received many messages (some in quite aggressive tone) and explained several times that we have no intention of a PTO. We couldn't develop a good communication channel between our group and Georgian community. I think we should develop a proper communication channel, if we will continue to stay here.

Having said that, I think PTO article is totally unfair for the people who came here to support the development of Georgia and the arguements written there are baseless.

Election race for party presidency was between Muratba and Georgian Legion; and has nothing to do with PTO. I don't support reporting the only competitor in a race, but I don't support using fake accounts either. Elections should be fair for both sides. I can't understand how Muratba reporting the Georgian Legion has anything to do with a PTO.

We left a political party in Turkey and agreed to come to Georgia together. We wanted to be here all together. That's why Tom and other representives of parliament approved citizenship requests. I approved one request myself without knowing that you implemented additional rules for such approvals. I don't agree with such a rule, but I have respect for the rules and haven't approved any other request since then. This is not a proof for any kind of PTO.

I hope things will calm down and we will decide to stay in Georgia as a group. I believe we have a lot to achieve together in the future starting with taking our land back.
