Biggest tip any-one can give a new player is not to be affraid to ask for help or questions no matter how stupid the question may-be. There are a lot of string in the game machanics that even I need help with so if it seems self explainable still ask because there will still be a few hidden strings. And also just make sure you get a q1 and q2 house then save up your 10 gold you buy a day them upgrade your tc every month they get discounted.
Agree with nearly all the above just beware of any gifts from Moomoohead they always come at a price

Tips for New Players:
- Save your gold for training centres, (roughly) once a month the game lets you upgrade them w/ 45% off
- Division 1 Activity is varied and often left idle. I've sent you weapons so you can save money. Spread your damage and observe the "I got here first rule". 90% of players abide by it. Basically everything is up for grabs in the first 10 minutes of a battle, after that consult your Captain, 2nd Commander or Commander directly.
- You'll see Ministers post Battle Orders & Community Events (we currently have a Lottery no one has won in weeks (check the latest Gazette)
- Sign in once a day.

My tip is a simple one. As you may have already seen, you need fuel to fight (1 each round, but you can go both sides without spending more), so the key to get a good amount of gold is to hit first on both sides, just as Seth told you. Black Friday offers are soon, so if you avoid wasting too much fuel you should be able to get some good things then to help you starting. That being said, try to leave the wall in the correct side.
