My Introduction to eRepublik | Opinion Piece
Jokubas Zdobrodosli
This author has been on eRepublik for a total of 3 days. And while that seems like nothing at all to some of the older eCitizens, I find that the first three days of joining a website like this are the most action-filled, albeit the most nerve racking as well.
I hope some of you are familiar with the website NationStates, of which I have been a member for around a month. Managing two regions, and at least 10 nations all at the same time has been both incredibly rewarding towards my career path (Foreign Service for the USA) and also a strong demonstration of the bad side of humanity. The amount of fascist, racist, or nazi-ideology following regions on that website is atrocious. I understand that the site is supposed to allow political freedoms for all types of thinkings, but there's a certain point where regulations should be put in place.
Now, you may be thinking that I joined this website just to slander NationStates, and you would be right, except for one fact: NationStates is my home away from home. It allows me to practice diplomacy and international communication that has been valuable both for Political Science, but also dealing with social situations. Many people don’t think like this, but NationStates has taught me that the way you carry yourself, like your beliefs, ideas, etc; can change how others interact, or don’t, with you.
Re-reading this article, it reads like a blatant advertisement for NationStates, but I genuinely love the website. Since I am relatively new to eRepublik, I look forward to writing more about my experiences both here and on NS.
For a prosperous future,

I played NationStates for a few years after reading Jennifer Government (great book would also suggest Lexicon by the same author)

Thank you so much!
Will you stay in Bosnia, or join us here in Canuckistan?
Looks like he's applied here.
Yes, I plan to move to the Northwest Territories. Bosnia's a little... Bosnian for me
That is Bosnias job to be fair.
Welcome to erep.
Thank you!
Welcome
Thank you thank you!

Welcome!
I've been playing eRep for more than a decade. Without a doubt, if I didn't like or care about the people here, I would've quit a long time ago. Warmest welcome to our eCan community! ❤
Don't listen to these people they run a well established routine theft of tax dollars that mainly makes its way to there supporters. Its almost like real life politics and they have dione nothing but make the game dull dont stick around its not worth it.
No real wars barely or any real gameplay. Go back to your other game nothing worth staying for here.
That's just because no one will join my party of goofiness. ;_;
I played NS years ago. Moved on to more, game like?, options. Welcome to eRep!
I can understand that. Thank you!
Is this game still playable. I was playing around 10 years ago. I was marshal and one of the leader of lazokrats.
Is it possible or worth to progress from new account or should I use any other account?
How is the game dynamics now? can you enjoy or developers still ..?
