Musical Mints

Day 2,174, 13:03 Published in Ireland Ireland by Releasethe Krakken

WHS articles brought back some memories but I followed some familiar links and came to some music that is kinda calming.

Explaining player demographics by Music(needed to beat spam rule - every every article must tie in somehow with eRep)

Considering that your average age in a online game is near 35 your demography would split into 3.

Honestly I still get the idea when I play eRepublik that this still apply.

branch 1 20 - 30
currently there is branch back here and modern music is touching on these songs.
Crash Test Dummies - Mmm

branch 2 - 30 - 38

Well this was a difficult period. Not so many options due to music unavailability etc.

The Connels - 74' 75'

other notables entire Nirvana etc.

Soul Asylum - Runaway train

During this time poprock was very popular therefore mostly ballads of a rock nature like soul asylum.

branch 3 > 38 - 60

I read a lot up on the beat movement and really if you really thought hard about it this was the seed for the 60's movement. With beat movement we of course refer to Jack Kerouac, Alan Ginsberg and all their experiments well anyway maybe it was just the drugs getting stronger.

Lou Reed - Sweet Jane

but my favorite version is

Cowboy Junkies- Sweet Jane This song was made famous in Natural Born Killers the scene where they met up with the Indians me thinks.

Well the most calm music is in the buddha bar range here is an example but I am not a fan of the whole series bit too pricey

anyway more of a concept/brand than a type of music

Desire- Deepak Chopra & Demi Moore
