Let Me Know... (I will probably regret this)
Mahsa.Gh
As you have noticed, over the past several days I have been fortunate enough to receive support as both the Dictator of eJapan and to be elected as the Country President (CP). I do not have any grandiose plans of change, nor do I have evil intents on the country’s well-being – but I do want to know what you think.
What I propose is to establish this article as a place for our citizens to post their questions, concerns, compliments and complaints for me to address. While the format of this medium allows for everyone to reply to everyone else, I would ask that citizens allow me to respond to the posts and then crucify me later.
I don’t like trolls and if I perceive your tone as trolling – I will identify it as such and move on.
With all of that said, please go ahead with your questions.

I am curious if you want to implement some sort of Japanese style in our daily life. The picture of Fuji-san is a good start. 😉
I do not know much about Japanese culture in real life. Do you think that we could recruit volunteers to provide one cultural article a week?
Thank you for giving it a thought. We are a multicultural society. The only way to bond us is a culture we all accept and respect beyond ours
Darshu - have you travelled to Japan?
Aye. Roughly once a year, if we consider Okinawa too, which is a bit special.
congratulations
and good work this month

Thank you
I like the way we are slowly reviving through the articles 😃
Agreed 🙂
I would like that people are more tolerant to publishers that do not know english well enough to write articles.
Who knows eng should write on eng, but if someone does not, article on any language is better than no article. There is always google translate..
I think we can all agree on this. I would rather have folks participate and seek out translations as opposed to not participating at all.
Should we create a penalty box/yellow card system for violators?
Are you saying that a Serbian Google Translated article is betterthan nothing at all?
I am saying that any translated article is better than not participating.
I'm against any penalty system. In my RL country we have problem with freedom of press and I do not support any actions that can lead to censorship.
Shirosakura, I think that better that we have articles on mother-languages of our eCitizens if they do not know english well enough. Who is against it: he is for some type of censorship. And it is not only about Serbian: Fabyzol for example issues every day article in Hungary on Hungarian and spends a lot of golds for that. Why? Cause someone here complained why article is not on English, probably
maybe you can get the title of the article in both languages (native and English) so we at least kinda now what it is about when we check the main page and decide if we want to deal with the google translate to kinda understand the rest of it...
This is a good idea. I don't see why we shouldn't ask publishers for the double title.
@shirosakura I know.........
Still, it is better to have articles in both languages... Let's aim for that, guys!
I still want to see changes made to the Cabinet, the same people every month for the past several years is quite a pathetic show to be honest. The eJapanese standard of governance is stagnated and nothing new comes of it. Other than from what the Ministry of Education pushes out, and that only accounts barely anything new and innovated for the eJapanese people as a whole.
At the very least open new Sub-Ministries that gives individuals the chance to participate in the government. There are plenty of individuals that would love to be a contributing part of our eSociety. But without any real changes occurring. Then what's the point of bothering in a country such as this anymore.
I am in the process of reaching out to current cabinet ministers to more fully understanding their roles. Also, do you have any suggestions for sub-ministries?
See it as a closed VIP club.
I am trying to get into the government myself. Let's see what happens this month. Support me!
Well my complain is the total lack of military activity in our country, training wars don't count at all in this regard, also we should change our dictatorial system it is totally flawed as it is now, well this month we had the luck that you fill the same position as CP and Dictactor but usually the Dictactor has no democratic legitimacy.
'dictator' is just name of the option in this game and it is no related to RL stuff. If majority in congress decides that not the same person is dictator and CP, that is legitimate. 'dictatorship' here is not terror of the minority. UK, for instance, had one person for dictator all the time, and CPs were different every month.
We fight a lot for our allies, not just in training wars. Probably that wars are not interested to you and that is why you do not see that. But, we will not start some senseless wars, especially we will not attack any neighbor of Japan.
Well I think that the people should elect the dictator not the congress, also this is a war game, the concept of senseless war doesn't make any sense.
Congress is elected from the people, but congress elects Government and government leads country: that is situation in almost all RL Countries in Europa.
Senseless war is every war that you know in advance that will destroy your country and wipe them for a long time.
The issue is when you say Congress elects the leaders. Why haven't I been notified of any electoral meetings then. I am a member of Congress representing SOS Brigade the last time I checked. So why haven't I been included on government votes and selections of leadership?
I said how it is functioning in RL. This is just a game, game where are no mechanism for voting on some kind of referendums. It is obvious who have majority in congress and majority of military power in Japan and there is no need for any official voting to prove who is majority.
BTW, if you have read my interview for Bastovan's newspapers, you could find out my opinion about voting and multi-accounts in this game.
Theoretically: multi acc-s can bring you win on elections here; but cannot make you win on the battlefield.
You didn't answer my question, where was my invitation to discuss the leadership of this country if it was elected by Congressional members. I bet anyone outside of TLS, CtG, etc wasn't even considered to be a member of congress by your standards.
As Karasu Senshi said nobody has notified congress members of opposition parties about the existence of any decision about who is going to become dictator, also congress members vote as a single unit not in block as parties, you are assuming that all TLS, CtG members are going to vote for the same person as dictator which I don't think that is the truth at all.
this is my last post on this theme:
If you doubt that our congressmen are not unified, you are wrong and you do not know how we function
CP can be impeached or not voted for next month; dictator have only good-will to pass her/his position to next. Dictator can do anything she/he want with our country and we extremely care who will be in possesion of 'red button' here.
Dictatorship costed 1m jpy for implementation. If someone do not want to pass dict. position, that can cost 2m jpy for overthrowing and implementing new one
As all that sai😛 dictators will be only 100% active and trust worthy persons.
Why are you dodging the question at hand. Why have "I" or any other possible Congress Members that have not been invited been invited? You keep throwing random points of discussion around while avoiding my question outright.
You say this is the last time you speak about this topic, but I feel you're avoiding the question at hand, because you yourself don't have a clue. Or that you do, and you look down on those of us that would like to participate in the government.
T his brings two questions based on your post: First, what would you consider actual military activity? Second, what changes would you make to the current dictatorial system?
Thanks in advance.
Well I think about an airstrike against a country with which we haven't a border. Well about the dictatorial system I think that citizens should be involved with the choice of the dictator through the CP elections.
Alessandro: You cannot do anything on the battlefield with your 15m damage. I cannot do anything with my damage even if it is much much more bigger than yours.
You want some war, but you want that someone else is fighting for your ideas. That is not moral according to my standards and principles: I never start wars and expect to others to achieve my goals if I cannot do it alone.
I never said that I am a strong warrior, anyway the war is a collective effort and I fight as much I can until I deplete my health bar and when I want I spend all my candies, if you consider the war just a sideshow for some players with strong accounts than I wonder why you are even playing this game. Anyway I am fighting only in air battles because I have no hope to catch with the strongest players.
Congratulations and good luck!
Thank you.
i like me some crucifixion 🙂
Folks have been pretty gentle so far - Thanks
Hay posibilidades de tratar de buscar nuevos horizontes y dejar de ser una marioneta de serbia? // Are there possibilities to try to find new horizons and stop being a puppet of Serb?
I do not feel that we are a puppet of Serbia. We have a mutually beneficial relationship. Did you have a previous character in eRepublik?
[removed]
Does it really seem reciprocal to you? Until recently they control the government of Japan and had a dictator, half of Japan and its resources is controlled by Serbia, we always fight for the interests of Serbia, but I think that's why I see that many stop playing for you feel that We will fight more for Serbia than for Japan.
I ask if I have another account?
It does seem reciprocal to me. In exchange for territories - we have out sovereignty.
The reason I asked about having a previous character in eRepublik is based on your character's birth date of April 3, 2017. Your comment appeared to hold more historical perspective than available for such a new player to the community.
Of course, you do not have another account. That would be in violation of the rules of the game.
Should read - "we have our sovereignty." not out - typo
I do not speak of historical issues spoke of what I see today and If in the group of SOS I explain something of the history of Japan.
Okay - I think I understand regarding the history. Thanks
Ouibster, so far so good.. Do you actually regret this?
I do not regret doing this article. What I regret is my inability to apply the time necessary to the comments requiring response.
I will continue to do my best in those regards.
