I guess if not one of 40 Congressmen had any opinion on the subject then the eUK community is dead - I remember we had a proper public debate and vote when we joined with lots of valuable contributions for and against.
Well 22 of them had enough of an opinion to force a pretty big Foreign Affairs direction change despite allegedly not knowing what was going on.

I don't remember that, I remember a few people not wanting to join, a few people wanting to join and the rest not contributing as normal. Then AMD pushing it through as quickly as he can. But yes the eUK community died a death ages ago...

that's because there was no discussion needed for the out vote. no one could come up with any good reason for staying...
I voted against leaving. Whilst ORION is far from perfect, it did offer some form of allied support to the eUK in our semi-occupied state.
It must be remembered that we are a country with very limited military capability - so any major military actions can only be made successfully with some form of Allied assistance.
Diplomacy is even more important now than it ever was - so sticking two finger up and declaring 'BREXIT' is not really going to win us any friends - is it?
That all sort of depends on whether leaving is seen as just being a bit weird or if it actually makes an enemy out of Orion. If everybody stays marginally friendly afterwards we'll not die.
We haven't stuck up two fingers and I've gone out of my way to be diplomatic. You're always going to have haters, naysayers and pessimists who think we're doomed (hey, we probably are) but the surprising thing is it seems to have improved relations with some countries.
I am sure that the combined attention of your warm and friendly character, combined with the odd cat picture, we will not make any enemies (unlike the Baltic Potato incident)....
Again Pauly - you get my support (and vote against impeachment if PN continues with his amusing little joke impeachment game.....)
You do realise Cert, that Latvia nor Pacifica were bothered about our trolling. They actually found it amusing for the most part.
