Irish Army: Time for a census

After discussing this in full with everyone we created a 6th regiment named regiment 8. 20 Soldiers was moved to the regiment along with Chance Harrison that was captained to lead this regiment.

If you look back in my articles the plan and details of how this game mechanic worked was explained and a strategy outlined for this step.

Chance Harrison claims 18 players of this regiment was dead players. Unfortunately I dont have any records of them. With no consultation Chance made an executive decision and deleted these 18 souls from our ranks. At this stage we only have Chance's word that all 18 was dead players.

Yesterday I saw that our numbers had dropped from 131 to 111 members.

Indeed there was only 18 members with Chance in the regiment so in fact it appears he even removed players from other regiments.

2 in fact.

Now at that stage I looked in what regiment we had the least players and came upon Chance with only 1 other member in his regiment Emfame.

I thereby revoked his captaincy as I did not know the reasons why Chance acted in this way and as a security measure to limit further damage to the Military Unit.

Any other action would have been incorrect and I'm not going to discuss why with anyone else.

Safe to say a more precarious approach could have led to a army with only 9 members as Chance could indeed have deleted the entire MU if indeed he could remove players from other regiments(I am not certain of that fact) It was a temporary action that could be easily mended whereas losing players cant be easily mended.

Chance was told all this but remained flippant and self righteous about his actions. In fact a further factor was that there was now simply to little members to warrant a 6th captain and it was decided to move the rest of the regiment - the other 2 players into other regiments. We also gave Chance the opportunity to make reparations by inviting 18 members to his regiment whereby he would be reinstalled as captain. Chance laughed at this and even claims this was my fault by adding him as captain to a dead regiment. If this was the truth then a pm and discussion would have been the appropriate step. More active players could have been swapped in and out of his regiment. As was it was members of Technician's regiment that was just added from the bottom to regiment 8.

One does not delete death members from your MU as the more members you have the better advertisement it is for younger players.

Anyway as discussed I think we can all agree that Chance was completely at fault.

As founding member of the military junta I would give him the benefit of the doubt as to his actions being malicious. Lets just say he was a complete and utter noob and leave it at that.Any further action by him will lead to a proposal to have him removed asap whereby he will become functus officio(in office with no powers)


CENSUS
Anyway that is why we will now be forced to conduct a census of the remaining players.

Dead players will be cataloged so that if this happens again we can act more decisively.

Information is gold so not only will we look at dead and life players but activity , rank strength , division , max hits and country of citizen.

Any volunteers would be appreciated.
