Interviews ArikAharon & Joe Franco

Day 1,654, 07:38 Published in Israel Israel by danis1982

Hello to everyone!!! We have now the interviews with the two candidates!
Joe Franco & ArikAharon

Here we go!

1 - Which path brings you to become a candidate?
ArikAharon: I want to help eIsrael , and I'm truly believe that no one else can do as much as I can.
Joe Franco: The urge to serve my country and my people. We need to get out of the loophole of Country Presidents who think about themselves first. The only reason I will run, is to get eIsrael on a higher level. Together; you; me; the country!

2 - What changes do you plan to bring?
ArikAharon: I want to increase our DMG,and therefore our bonuses.
Joe Franco: The changes on the first layer I have published already in this article http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/joe-franco-as-your-cp-039-eng-heb--2047959/1/20 and on the website: http://www.wix.com/joefranco/joe_franco but the deeper change would be the adjustment of mentality installed by former Presidents. Israel has to think from inside outwards, as a part of a bigger picture. We cant afford to be looking only inwards.

3 - Do you have new Alliance plans?
ArikAharon: nope 🙂
Joe Franco: I still dream of a Pan-Mediterranean Alliance between Greece-Cyprus-Turkey-Israel and in another concept of an Alliance formed by small countries like the STAR/LUNA treaty. If this is reachable is complete another story.

4 - Do you have a work team? And if yes, which is it?
ArikAharon: I'm creating one as we speak 🙂
I want a cabinet fullied with active eIsraelis.
Joe Franco: There is a general idea of a workforce present. I would like to call them Councilors of the State. It will be a good mix of veterans and new talent. With emphasis on New Talent!

5 - How do you take your decisions?
ArikAharon: consulting with my cabinet and ministers.
Joe Franco: Any decisions will be made in collaboration with the Councilors and in the end I will take the responsibility and make the call.

6 - Do you have any plan about economy?
ArikAharon: Yep. I would like to increase the Import tax , and lower the tax for the eIsraelis.
I can't stand the currenct situation , that many eIsraelis are moving citizenship because of the economy.
Joe Franco: We have to begin at the beginning! First we need to have a complete oversight of income and outgoing funds. I said it before, and will say it again: Transparency.
Then an analyze of what our are moneymakers and what not. Although raising taxes seems a great way to fund our coffers, but lowering the taxes can give an important impulse in our market.
In other words: the economy in erepublik is hardly an national economy anymore, we need to find an interesting equilibrium for eIsrael in these markets.

7 - Do you have a personal philosophy?
ArikAharon: Work hard 🙂
Joe Franco: Who doesn't? I live and do business according to a few simple rules: Honesty, Straightforward and Direct. I do what I say, and say what I do!

8 - What do you think about the current government?
ArikAharon: personally, I think we can't blame eyantne. He is doing as much as he can , consider the circumstances.
Joe Franco: (Note of danis1982: Question 8 and 9 are both in Question 9)

9 - How do you feel about our current situation?
ArikAharon: Bad.
We need to do some moves in order to keep our citizens , and increasing the bonuses.
Joe Franco: Question 8 and 9 is the result of action and reaction!
The current Government is just a transit government to the June administration. Due to any lack of leadership we are just floating around. As country we are too small to be isolated from the rest of the eWorld. In erepublik its impossible to be a great nation if you believe in the fact that only RL residents of a particular country should rule.

10 - Do you think that you are ready for the job?
ArikAharon: I was born ready 🙂
Also, I was 2 times a president , so I think I might have a large exprience with presidenty
Joe Franco: I'm ready and most capable to be your Country President!

11 - What do you think about your opponent?
ArikAharon: A good one .
However, I don't agree with him.
He is a strong player who helped a lot to eIsrael , but he need to understand that this doesn't mean he is ready to be the president
Joe Franco: What do I think of my opponent? Well, I will only judge him on his actions!
The complete division between rl eIsraeli and non rl eIsraeli, between Hebrew speaking and non Hebrew speaking is a result of my political opponent. He divides the community, kills the country he loves so much, only for his advantage. In other words, his own personal gain is a higher priority then the priorities of eIsrael.

Thank you very much to ArikAharon and Joe Franco for this interview! Good luck for both of you! and for the best of eIsrael!
