I wasn’t intending to write an article but I was attacked yesterday.

I haven’t been playing very long and it all started off well. I took advantage of all of the Department of Interior programs I could qualify for and worked everyday. I joined the largest party in the eUSA and it was very active, I’m unsure how active other party’s are but the WTP is always giving away food and even sometimes cash. I used to stop by there just to get Q7 food which for a newb is pretty handy. There seemed to be a lot of chatter about multi’s but I just thought it was idol gossip, maybe they are being made a scapegoat I don’t know, I don’t really see any advantage to multiple accounts. As I gained enough cash from working and producing food of my own, I started not going to the party chat everyday.

I signed on today to find out that yesterday in the party feed Dominar Rygel XVI stated that I had been verified 100 percent as a multi, which came as a surprise to me I did not know what I did to deserve this designation. No email to me, nothing just a statement in the party feed stating “I would also like to point out that these two accounts are 100% multis. I would also encourage the members to report them”. I thought I had been lynched. I guess I will be looking for another party, I really liked the activity in the WTP and I will be surprised to find a more active group I’m afraid.

Accusing others of being a multi is a time honored way to make oneself seem relevant, go to forum and look up Franlkie Stoner multi-hunter

I too have been accused of being a multi, though not by the same people that accused you.

It really makes me wonder if these people don't have better things to do than accuse people of breaking game rules without actually having any evidence to support their claim. The user "the Trite On Movement" might be right; it might be a way to make oneself seem relevant. Regardless of the reason, accusing others of breaking rules without having any evidence is a really pathetic thing to do.

Couldn't hurt for every party to have multiple old-time members scroll through the younger profiles in the party and look for patters/suspicious stuff from the younger accounts. I've been encouraging people to ticket and wait for ban before throwing accusations, because of stuff like this.

WTP has banned around a dozen that I know of. Make sure your elections are secure.

No dog in the hunt but here's my opinion.
(FWIW I used to help track down multies and PTOs for the US.)

Account is one month old.
One each HW & SS achievements.
Over 100 friends, some I've heard of.
Rank up regularly.
TP for US.
Party member.
MU member.
Actually started a Newspaper and wrote an article.

Multie risk is low.
Need to wait 5 months before trusted player.
Check back on activity with party and MU at that time.

If you question everyone that's new we get no new players. You need to show some screenshot or IRC log to convince otherwise.

Let's get real here, NO ONE NEW is signing up for this antique browser game with a child like GUI and zero means for a new player to catch up to anyone. It is a losing deal from day one.

No one new has signed up in years, everyone new is either a multi or a recycle or a silly youngster who followed a bad path on the interwebs and will be gone in a minute. They do not take the time to create a Newspaper to blah, blah, blah about being called a multi so they can't get free sh#t,
