I'm back, and behind the times

I've chosen to come back to eRepublik, and honestly, I'm a little behind the times as to what has happened. Is the economy fixed? Wages are decent, prices are super low though I see.

What is endorsements?

Also, I've noticed that the eWorld population was cut in half, and eCanada is small. So, fill me in, if you wouldn't mind. 🙂

(Note: I have been watching the news for a week or so, so I know what happened just a little bit before Christmas until now.)

P.S. In case you didn't know December 22 was my ebirthday... I didn't even realize that when I came back. It was interesting.
